I can't even get them to answer the phone. Apparently that is the way service is now. Dissatisfied with Shawnee Lowes also.

worst hardware store experience of my life, really wish I could give zero stars. I've been to alot of lowes stores but the one in mcalester oklahoma takes the prize for worst customer service Ever!!! I spent 45 minutes looking for the items I needed with no help. gave up and started asking for help. went through 5 employees before I found someone to help. mind you most of these 5 employees were busy standing around chatting with other employees. 1 employee at the pro-desk told me "we don't really do that" when I asked him to help me find the items on my list. I did ask for the store manager twice but don't know if they told him/her because I never seen the manager. customer service so bad that if I wasn't so desperate for the supplies I would have driven to a home depot many miles away. I spent $2000 and Jerry in hardware was the only one who would help. I will return to the store since there are very few options here but if this happens again I will be permanently boycotting lowes. Lowes Customer service = Go F Yourself.

they had plenty of people to help customers but everyone was either on phone or hiding out ..was probably the worst experience I have had at lowes ...gonna try home depot in the next town and see if they are any better can't be any worse

We looked online for a door with a doggie door and found one at Lowes and it said they have 3 in stock so we drove 40 minutes to purchase the item and we couldn't find it so I walked around to find an employee and he said oh we don't have those but you can order it online! Furious about the time and gas wasted we went online to order it to pick up from the store but since they show to have 3 in stocks we couldn't do that but for an additional 79.00 we could have it delivered it to our house!!!
Yesterday we drove back to Lowes to buy a water heater I asked for assistance because we are both 60+ and I knew I couldn't manhandle it alone so I asked the woman in the back if we could get help and she said take it to the front to pay and they will call someone to load it for you...I went to the front and asked the employee for help loading it so she called over the intercom for code 50 at self checkout. A few minutes later code 50 at self checkout. 5 times code 50 at self checkout and still no help so I finally said never mind I will just to the best I can myself! We were trying to get it loaded and a CUSTOMER ran over and helped to get it in the pickup!! We spent 500.00 for a stinking water heater and can't get help loading it?!? Employees standing around talking to each other in the store but no one available to help 2 older people load a water heater! I wish I could say these were the only 2 issues we have had with this particular store since we have moved to Oklahoma but it is not! We need new doors and windows but I will drive 200 miles to buy them somewhere else to keep from going in this store again!

We went to Lowe’s in McAlester, Ok on 05/16 and had the pleasure of meeting Reba in the plumbing Sept. she knew where everything was located and was a wonderful help! She made our day!!’nn
