Common Roots Mercantile was opened in October of 2014. We lucked into buying a Historic building located right next to our photography studio and the love for this building is what started the vision for Common Roots Mercantile. We knew when we bought it we wanted to renovate it back to what it once was. As we peeled through MANY layers of walls we uncovered beautiful sandstone walls & original tin ceilings. It was like this building was telling us what kind of store it wanted to be.
Very friendly people that work there. You could easily become friends. There's shirts and lots of stuff but I decided to get a couple of chocolates and old fashioned drinks
