It's really nice to go and enjoy with family. They are really friendly and nice the park is so nice and well kept I love this park it's so peaceful. It's really worth the drive.
Playground: They also have a few really safe and secure playgrounds that my son enjoyed playing with.

I hadn't been over in years. When my kids was small we would come at least 2 times every summer. Today decided to take my grandkids to enjoy and I was so sad to see how bad it has went down. Use to love this place. But we found no water slide, no paddle boats, and we was going to take the kids and show them the beach I use to take their mom to when she was growing up until I realized just to walk out there and let them see would cost me $10 just to park for about 10 to 15 minutes. Just a total let down today!!!

We're visiting all the state parks and we went to Quartz Mountain State Park for Independence Day weekend. We hiked up Sunrise Trail, we visited the ATV area, we walked to the dam, and we swam in Lake Altus-Lugert. We had our own spot on the beach and weren't crowded at all. It was beautiful that day and we had the best time. We can't wait to come back and camp.
Restrooms: The restrooms were clean and well stocked.
Picnic area: Several day use areas and you can also get a spot on the beach.

It was nice and relaxing but the down side is the price and it doesn't have a playground

Really nice place to visit. Enjoyed the wildlife. The deer was extremely friendly. Hopefully I get a chance to revisit it in the future

Beautiful setting. FHU RV sites are tight and close together. Great hiking/scrambling and a fun lake. We had deer through our site most weeknights when the park was more quiet. The swim beach could use a cleanup.

Drove from Dallas, TX to check out the state park to see if if was a possibility to camp here in the future. Was parked at the marina for 5 minutes to take a look at the lake and during that 5 minutes was given a parking ticket. She obviously had to see me walk away from the vehicle and she saw me walking back to the vehicle. Enjoy your $20 fine, because that’s all your po dunk park will see from me. I will never spend another penny at that park and will probably tend to stay away from other OK state parks.

Closing the top half of the park for "privileged art students " doesn't seem right.
