excellent store with homemade kimchi of various types, all kinds of korean items that you could ever want and a small area where she has fresh cooked beef bulgogi and short ribs for sale - which i tried and it was absolutely delicious

Given the place is not bad, however I found out later that the prices on some of my items and the receipt did not match. Ended up paying way more then i should have. Also, the prepared side dishes may taste good to some, it did not to me. They were friendly. I will not return however because i like to trust the Korean stores I go to when being ringed up.

The brean sprouts were not fresh. After we picked out the best looking one ,we went to check out. She informed us that most customers damage her fruits and veggies by touching them. She says people should just pick the first one you see and not check for freshness.

Love this place. The owner is very sweet. I'm not sure if the guy there was her son or grandson, but he was very kind. Talked with me about what stuff he liked personally when I had a question. They have a lot of variety here. All kinds of fresh and frozen things. Snacks, seasonings and everything in between. Fresh kimbap she makes was super tasty! Pretty much anything you could need is here, and it's all reasonably priced. I had been ordering tteokbokki and other snacks I love on Amazon, but I won't be doing that anymore.Please check them out and support our local businesses!

I have been going to this store for 2 years. Owner was friendly until just recently. She is rude, she would ask questions about my looks. Like why it's this or that way. She always tries to recommend beauty products and other products that are pretty much useless and cost too much. Over priced items on everything. I will never return to this store. She always tries to get me to buy more than I want to spend, but I don't give in to her tactics. I can get better food else where. The korean restaurants, except yummy yummy restaurant, have way better side dishes and food and the other korean store on sheridan have better side dishes too and way much friendlier. Just because I didn't spend as much as she wanted me to, doesn't give her the right to say rude things to me.
