Dr. Stieb is very thorough and personable! He doesn’t make the patients feel rushed through the exam, and takes the time to double check the prescription is perfect before sending you on your way. Sometimes the wait in the waiting area is a little long, but I really don’t mind it if it means I’m getting a great eye care experience. Definitely recommend Eye Care on Gore!

The staff was very nice. It's the first exam I have gotten where I wasn't scolded for my excessive blinking. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely fabulous with handicapped kids. My grandson is autistic and he loved them. They were very calm, funny, and patient. They knew how to treat him.

I have been seeing Dr. Leong here for over a decade now. She does a very thorough exam and she answers all of my questions. I never feel rushed at my appointments. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing, Dr. Stieb especially. I have an aunt who has autism and was terrified to get an exam, and he not only let me come back with her, but was as patient and soothing as he could be with her. After we left, she said eye appointments are okay if Dr Stieb was there. If you or someone you care for has sensory issues, he’s the only optometrist to see, in my honest opinion.

I have never had such a pleasant experience at an eye doctor. The options for care were amazing, I felt comfortable expresses my concerns, and I didn't feel rushed. De. Leong was attentive and made sure my prescription was correct before I left. She offered a new type of contact lens to try because she thought it would be best for my eye, but didn't push it. This was the least expensive place to purchase contacts and my eye exam- but with the highest quality of care and expertise. The office staff were wonderful, kind, and answered all my questions with a smile on their face.

I went here and this place is amazing. They are very professional, and they explain everything in a way people can understand. I will continue using them. They are also amazing with kids. My sister takes her kids there, and she was the one who told me to go to them.

The doctor i had was pretty nice, it was a man last year when I went.I wasnt impressed, the office definitely needed updating. The lady who was doing my pre test, tests, coughed the whole time really bad. Bad enough that I remember it vividly 1 year later.I requested my prescription be emailed to me when my prescription was 6 months old, they said they would, never did.Called back to get it again, after my prescription was about a year old. Was told they were void after a year. I said I understood that and would still like my prescription.They put me on hold and had a doctor? I assume, but no idea, come on the phone to tell me again. Once again I said I get that and would like it. She then tells me "well if you try and get glasses with it, they will let us know".Why I need my prescription is none of their business, and they never sent it anyway. They took my email but just refused to send it. I also asked for it to be faxed to my new doctor, no idea if they did that, but they made a big deal about a fax, didnt know it took "at least 45 minutes" to fax a paper you already had pulled up on your screen.I dont appreciate being treated like a child. They are rude, the office looks like one I would go to in 1990, and they can't even send an email correctly. hopefully my prescription was at least right, but who knows.

Dr.Leong has helped me since I was little with my eyes. She used to make home visits and help me with all sorts of puzzles and exercises. She would always bring me new things and has helped me work out my lazy eye even though I’ve stopped doing the treatment I need to make another appointment with her. But I highly recommend this place. She’s like family and is so caring.

I have had terrific experiences here since my first visit in September 2020. Last night my glasses broke, and I didn't have a spare. I took my broken glasses in. I was helped right away. They put my lenses in some temporary frames, and I CAN SEE TO FUNCTION until my frames get back. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Thanks so much!
