I literally hate hearing people getting sick af from this disgusting ?, infested place. They don’t take care of their people like they should and I’m disappointed in this treatment of a job. Seriously so sad how this company treats their employees !

Five years ago, My daughter's settlement money was placed in this bank at this location. After she turned 18, at the end of 2022, she sought to recover her monies plus interest. To this date she is not in possession of her monies....
They mailed her a cashiers check of the full amount. We reported that the check may have been lost and their records show that the check was never cashed....
The bank is still in control of her monies since end of year 2022 and have not issued her a new check despite agreeing to do so on two occasions. The check was never cashed, as we are in possession of the check but it now over 90 days old and not cashable. For five months, this bank has not reissued her a check. We feel that this bank took advantage of a 18 year old, still holding on to her monies. To make matters worse, we now live out of state. With our military connection, I feel as if this bank has not worked well with us and despite a recent certified mail letter and several phone calls, we still do not have my daughter's $5,000 check which she needs to pay for this semester of college. ? My worse banking experience ever.....!!!
Update: After posting this review, we were contacted the same day and had my daughter's monies wired to her.....Thank you for listening❣

They were ok in the beginning, helped me out of a few jams which I appreciate. Then my account was closed by Collections with a pending Social Security deposit the next day and was charged $20 reinstatement fee. After checking my account on the18th the reinstatement fee was returned. There are still a few issues to resolve. It seems they really don't work with you. The Collection Department screwed my account totally and won't do anything to rectify the situation. If the reinstatement fee was credited, why isn't the rest of my account? Called Customer Service and Collections told them there's nothing they can do...but I can, find a new bank!

There is one lady in particular that works the drive-thru window. She’s ALWAYS rude and real short with her reply… Sorta makes my wife & I feel dumb for even asking anything pertaining to our account. We will not be going back & just make the drive to 82nd.

We went to open an account with Amina for my sister. She was amazing and so helpful! Very detailed and sincere. She also took the time to make sure all of the necessary forms were filled out correctly. Thank you for your help Amina!

My bank account is frozen because I have 13k deposited into my bank in three months time that were not my work paychecks. I thought that was the point of a bank account to have all your money wired and deposited into your account. Why do I have to be questioned about where my payments are from when I call and ask for help. And the fraud person who works in the back of the branch doesn’t care to help just adds fuel to fire. He is part of the problem. Than they tell me they don’t want my money at their bank. To come get it or they are going to send it to me in a cashiers check. U have lost a customer forever but I can tell in their attitude on the phone that they didn’t care. Please if you make good money don’t put your money in this bank!!!!!! they will question you about simple deposits and if you don’t want to answer they drop you!!!

After many years of pretty decent service, about which I had no complaints, they suddenly took a nose dive recently. First, I was charged $250 to cash a check that was from a reputable source and for which funds had been verified already by phone. Then, they randomly decided to start sending all of my deposits back to their source, while placing an indefinite hold on my account, all without any real explanation to me as to why this was done. Since Social Security will place a hold on your account if a deposit is returned, and getting ahold of them to do what needed to be done to correct my situation was beyond difficult, we were deprived of our main income for several months in a row, causing serious financial hardship. When SSI was able to change things on their end finally, they did say that some deposits might still go to City National before the changes I requested would take place. I went into the bank (repeatedly) to see what they wanted so as to quit returning my daughter’s orphans benefits when they came in. First, they said just her birth certificate, so I brought that and was prepared with whatever else they might ask for. Then, they started asking me for things that simply don’t exist. Court paperwork showing I’m her rep payee. I never went to court. She’s under 18 and she was already living with me when her father passed away. So, then they asked for the rep payee paperwork, which I gave them. They said it didn’t prove anything. Do they even know what rep payee paperwork looks like? Apparently not, since I put it in front of them and they shoved it back at me. Finally, I took out an old bank statement and asked them to read it to me, as it literally states on the deposit that comes in that I am the rep payee for my daughter. Right there on the same deposit that they’ve been receiving for the last 8 years to this account and just now want to question? I think I made it pretty clear that I will be putting my attorney in touch with the bank president if the deposits do come in and are sent back by the bank again. This is a bunch of nonsense. They have absolutely destroyed our financial situation and many aspects of life and caused much undue stress over the last few months with any provocation. I wouldn’t use this bank again if it was the only bank left in America. I try to keep my business local, but this is one case where I’ll no longer do that. Horrible service!

Literally the worst banks ever! Do not bank here! Been here for years and they treat you so bad. Also you can see them moving your money around over night and changing the amount in your account. Just watch. Log in every hour and see.
