This was the worst moving experience of my life. Our furniture was damaged, including a grand piano. The delivery was delayed by more than two weeks, then occurred with one day’s notice on a weekend, which meant that we couldn’t contact our coordinator when things went badly wrong. We are preparing our claim now. Would very much not recommend.

We were quick to have Chris come to give us a quote. It was the best quote so we scheduled the move, well in advance and were given a move coordinator, Shelby. The day of the move we waited and waited for the truck. No response from coordinator despite leaving email and voicemails.
Finally a call from the manager apologizing and wanting to postpone a day as they were already on a job. That wasn't possible so we were told, we'll have a crew together and be there by noon. They finally arrived after 1 pm. Truck was loaded extremely fast with a very large crew who informed me, our move was forgotten. 2 days later I finally received a response from the coordinator. She was out with a sick child. My thoughts, no back up for such occurrence? Moving cross country (1100 miles) is not cheap and pre scheduled for a reason.
On the other end, we were given a delivery window of 8 days. More actually because they picked up on 2/26, giving 3 days before the window began. After the 6th day of the window and no call about our shipment arrival, I contacted Shelby, again no response. I contacted Chris who responded quickly and said he would reach out to Shelby. The next day I emailed again with some anger. I was finally told the shipment was waiting for a driver. For 9 days, our shipment sat in the warehouse an hour from where it was picked up!!
4 days later we finally received the shipment. Boxes crushed, torn, upside down. Items smashed, pummeled, broken. Dusty and dirty like it sat outside. We paid for the insurance but haven't filed a claim yet. We didn't take pictures of the broken items because we threw out the glass shards and glass dust out of safety and never imagined there'd be so many items. With the way everything went with the company, we hold no confidence of recouping anything any ways.
This is not the first long distance move we've made, but it certainly was the first with Allied, the last and the worst ever.

Delayed delivery, Broken bed leg, torn couch fabric, multiple scratches on the furniture, loss of screws of furniture , didn’t assemble the furniture although they de assemble on the other side. If you are gonna spend so much money for moving then go for some reliable company. These people are not professionals.

We moved from Oklahoma to Montana. I can't say enough good things about our packers, loaders and driver. Arthur was wonderful. Very professional and kept us update on everything. I wasn't crazy about the guys that off loaded. 2 of them were very nice, however, they were distracted and dropping boxes. The off load was only into a storage unit.

We used this company for an interstate move. From the get go it was not a good experience. From the person we lined up to giving us a quote to the day of the move there were constant issues. Our first indicator that we should not have gone with them is when the gentleman who we organized our appointment to get the quote was a no show. We had to track him down and have the owner force him to come up to make our appointment. Second issue was when we got our quote and we agreed to use them they changed the price on us. Lastly, on the day of the move the driver showed up but did not have any loaders to help. They were supposed to start at 9am but after the mad scramble to bring a crew together they started closer to 1pm. The crew that loaded us up was very inexperienced and our driver was complaining they had no clue what they were doing. When I asked one of the loaders how long he had been doing this his replay was "I just started today, I just passed my drug test, thankfully." We have had several interstate moves and this by far was the worst.
