Got a ticket back in 2015 for speeding and payed the ticket in 2015. It’s now 2024 and am just being notified that I have a warrant because I never payed the ticket. According to them because I never appeared in court I got penalized and when I stated that I didn’t live in Oklahoma and never opted for a court date I just payed the ticket and it’s not fair that I be penalized for the situation when I in fact payed the ticket the lady was rude and basically said then don’t pay it that’s your choice. Very unprofessional and wouldn’t even offer to help lower the cost of an additional 380$ on top of already paying the ticket back in 2015. This is a damn scam.

The old lady named “Kay” is literally so rude, dismissive, and just single-handedly ruined my entire day with her HORRIFIC attitude.

Policing for profit, this town only exists to extort money out of drivers passing through. Its not about safety its about money. This town embodies everything that is wrong with this country, the corruption that exists here is atrocious.

I wish I could rank the service I experienced lower. I drove up from Dallas to handle a payment and called on the way explaining the weather might delay me. The lady on the phone rudely stated they will not "wait on" me. I was able to get there about 10 minutes before close but Google Maps led me to an incorrect location. I called again and asked if she could simply wait 2 minutes after closing for me. She said no, once the doors close that's it. I arrived at 5:01 and no one was in sight.
I understand it's a government building and they don't necessarily need to maintain customer service, but what about a little common decency. I asked for 2 minutes of your time to help me out. I was polite in the way I spoke and the fact I called multiple times should have shown I was doing my best to get there on time. I'm sorry the storm slowed me down from Dallas. I hope to never deal with this miserable county clerk again.
