I've got the "gig speed" service, but I don't get gig speed downloads, not even remotely close to a gig download speed. Best speed test on my network has produced 300 mg download and that's been the absolute best. They said fiber was already installed at my home when I bought it, unfortunately I don't have the technical knowledge to check what they're saying. But it's worked every time I log on. So there's that to say positively about them ....

We have Fiber Optic High speed internet through SST.Our internet speeds are satisfactory for what we pay and pretty stable most of the time. My biggest complaint is that we have to pay for a landline telephone in order to have their Fiber Optic internet service. That is about $30 per month that we pay for a service that we don't want or use and it is forced on us. They say "unfortunately we cannot offer you internet service without having the land line," which is basically just a way to justify stealing $30 per month from you since the 2 services have nothing to do with each other. Where we live there are no good alternatives for internet.

I have broadband internet with them and could not be happier. The install team were professional and proficient and the same can be said for the folks at the office in Kansas, Oklahoma. Great value and service.

They use to be really good with near excellent service and okay quality. Things change unfortunately including them. Everytime we tell them theres an issue they either dont want to believe what we tell them, tell us its probably our phone line or phone After telling them we already bought 2 New Phones and still had the same issue, theyll come out look at it and idk what they do but tell us its working fine or say something was wrong with the line and say that its fixed now or just wont come out after telling us that it may be a day or two and a whole week goes by without a call or anything from them and us having to ask again for then to send someone out and this last time took 3 times over 2 weeks for someone to finally be sent out to see what the issue was. Now granted they have replaced our line both phone and internet and they also gave us a new modem and router even tho we had to pay for the router, but even then we still have issues with our phone line, sometimes calling our house phone it wont even ring even if your calling it. They arent usally rude but have a had a few instances where they hung up on us once (might have been the phone although them saying its not the line and us buying a brand new phone makes us think its them doing it) and did get a bit rude saying how its not there end because they check it regularly to make sure things like that dont happen. Theres good and bad things to say about SST and we live in the country but just 4 minutes or about 3 away from SST's office. There's better options for better Internet and Phone service and as for right now with issues we're having nad the past issues i reccomend Not going with SST if possible. I will update this in about a month or two.
