“My Maggie passed away tonight. Dr Pfeffer and Dr Vanderhoof provided exemplary medical directives for her congestive heart failure. She was able to live a truly happy life for over a year after the swelling started and base medical treatment was less effective.
Dr Pfeffer listened to everything I questioned or found in research, discussed food content, helped me find alternatives for cookie rewards and supplement foods like pumpkin, blueberries and carrots to assist her quality of life.
They took my dedication to my Maggie's treatment very seriously and responded with equal and definitely above.
Every detail that could be discussed was.
The entire office helped her come back from the fear she was becoming engulfed in when she began realizing things were not the same, she couldn't jump, she couldn't run, she couldn't see, she hurt, she couldn't breathe. She loved you and trusted you and knew when she felt bad, communicated it, and I said "Dr Pfeffer?" she would immediately relax, watch me call and then give me kisses. She'd even find a little bit of sassy prancy dance on her little walks in her little old lady tired body after getting her nails trimmed and loved on by the beautiful grooming team.
This team helped me have hope and happiness in a life that's just not worth living without Maggie in it. It was beautiful and so filled with Love. One of the few times in my life I truly felt safe and respected. This office contributed GREATLY to all of that.
Thank you ALL. Even Joey. You have no idea what you mean to me.

“If I could give this place a 10 star I would! We just left here today to get our pit bull looked at and the vet and vet tech were the nicest vets I have ever met. They were so thorough and took the time to listen (didnt feel rushed at all) and were extremely friendly and easy to talk to. Also super understanding and not judgmental. They treated our baby so well and gentle too. It was our first time here and it felt like home, they even offered some discounts since we rescued our furbabies. I highly recommend Edgewood Vet. Its the perfect feel at home Vet place I have ever been too.”

“Dr. Briar and her staff at Heritage vet are very knowledgeable and are all so kind and helpful. My pups have been going to Dr. Briar for 5 years and have loved her. She is amazing and loves your pup like her own. One of my dogs was super sick and kept having to go see Dr. Briar to figure out what it was and I asked her what she would do if it was her baby and she said if it was my baby I would proceed to do a scope to get down to what’s really wrong. And I am so thankful for that day because we finally took the step to do a super expensive procedure but got down to what the real problem was and he is 1000% better. We loved her so much and would recommend her to anyone. She is also very conscious of your hard earned money. We love her and I’m sure anyone else will.”

His table side manner was excellent - so kind and took his time to answer questions and explain the procedure. Goose just had his annual checkup at the vet and they were so impressed by Dr. Russel’s work. Goose and I will be returning next month for some follow-up radiographs, and we look forward to it!”

“We began bringing our senior dog, Ruthie, to Riverbrook earlier this year after moving to the area. As her health declined, we found ourselves at the clinic more often. Each of the doctors were very generous with their time and frank in discussing our dog's needs. Their vet techs and office staff are also kind and professional. When it came time to say goodbye to our girl, the clinic was incredibly sympathetic and sensitive. Whenever we're ready for a new pet, we'd certainly come back. I cannot recommend them enough!”

“My puppy jumped off of me and onto our concrete pavers before i could catch him, and he broke his leg in two places. Dr. Huckabay was able to do emergency surgery on him over the lunch hour the same day. He's doing well and his meds help control his pain (3 days post-surgery). They took excellent care of him, and Dr. Huckabay spent lots of extra time talking with me about his injury, prognosis had I chosen a different surgery, and assured me I had made the best decision for him. They called to check on him this morning. I am very happy with how the entire ordeal was handled. We've been between vets for a few months since mine retired, but I will be staying with Advanced for my dogs' needs.”

“I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE Hammond Animal Hospital. My furbaby Macie has been there 3 times in the last 6 months and they have gone above & beyond what I expected. I don't have a vehicle and it's only an 11 minute walk but by the time we arrive, Macie is so overheated her temp rises to over 100°. Both times we had to walk, they kept Macie until they could get her temp down and then had someone drive us home so she wouldn't get overheated again. That is above and beyond the call of duty & I was extremely grateful & impressed. The staff is very friendly and the vet is thorough and explains everything they are doing for her and why. Macie still gets a lil anxiety when we go but that make me feel like family.”

“The staff at South County Animal Clinic were all very kind and helpful. It was my dog's first time in the clinic and she was a little skeddish, but they took their time to make sure she was comfortable before examining her - it meant a lot! Prices were very reasonable as well. I appreciated the estimate given over the phone while I was making the appointment. It took a lot of stress off knowing what the bill look like before I made the appointment.
