Even though I got kicked out from that place for stuff Im not going to list because It was on a student level. I found jesus for the first time and its helped me Improve. I would not be a better person right now where Im passing school and making A's with a 3.75 GPA along with nearing to getting a job. Teen challenge may have its faults (Bathrooms, students, beds, staff) but even then Its not horrible. I got to have great mentors along staff and I cant thank them enough (Regardless of the stuff happening before I left) for what they have done.

They remove my review every time I check it is gone. I have been reposting for years. Please do not send your child here. I was abused here years ago and the health conditions are hardly livable for any human regardless of what they have said they were doing to fix it. Disgusting place that does not instill anything but more PTSD and a lot more problems down the road trying to get rid of memories I had here.

I have been most impressed by the program and staff at Brush Creek. It is evident that they have a heart for the kids and a passion for what they are doing. When situations or problems have arrived during our son's stay, as they inevitably will over the course of a year's time, they have been handled quickly with integrity and respect. Our son has grown so much since entering the program and is showing more and more signs of improvement as he goes along. Do the kids complain? Sure! But let's be honest...if they were in a healthy frame of mind, they wouldn't even be there. Of course they will have complaints and struggles and want to leave and negative attitudes but that's precisely why they need to be there! It's ok to go through hard things because that's where the growth happens. We believe in the vision of the program and competence of the staff. I would personally challenge you to consider Brush Creek if you have a wayward son who needs a firm foundation. We are so thankful that we did! Our son is becoming the best version of himself that he has ever been and is working towards his future, when before he would only live in the minute. Best of all, he is finally learning how to love Jesus and getting into the Word of God.

We are very satisfied with Brush Creek. Although it may not be perfect (who is?) We do love the friendly staff and the change we have seen many boys experiencing including our own. It has been 6 months for us and it is night and day when out boy comes home to visit. Good guys. keep up the good work.

Completely understaffed, they will back stab their own staff. They had students doing grown staff homework for their college classes. They will make deals that they can’t keep. They will hold students past completing the program because “ lost paperwork” more than 3 times. They eat the same thing basically every day. They will force staff to work and not pay them at all. Report has been made about that. If your kid has issues with anxiety or anything along those lines look else where. They will shun students because “ it’s part of the program”. When you first enter you can’t talk to anyone for 1 level. They will get on to staff for stuff that happens after hours and yet when students do it. Nothing. They claim to be Christian yet talk in languages which you will never understand. Wake up the Bible talks about tongues as being able to speak to others. Not the devil. I would personally not ever sent my 2 kids there. My best advice do your research on them before you make the choice.Pro: nothingCons: you won’t get anything but cons from them.

Through the program at Brush Creek Teen Challenge our son's life was significantly changed. The staff and program are tough and loving both! Our son was challenged to take accountability for his choices and his life. We saw pretty radical growth over the year and a half he spent at Brush Creek. Though there were many struggles and days he and we were at the end of our rope, we never lost hope. We had no doubt that God lead us to Teen Challenge and particularly to Brush Creek. When we would question or doubt we continued to trust God to work through the staff. They have a true calling and loving our son was evident! It was hard. We all had to grow and change. But God...brought restoration and new life to our son. We are incredibly thankful for Brush Creek and encourage others to take this step of faith--we sincerely believe this saved our son's life!

Brush Creek Academy is a wonderful Christian based facility that help young boys grow into the young men of faith they are born to be. With a new building for the boys to lodge in, it brings the feel of the outdoors to the living area that has multiple amenities. With school provided, animal therapy and many mentors to help guide your child through their growing experiences, Brushcreek has helped many young men find there way to a better place in their lives.

Brush Creek is committed to helping young men change their life. The updated facilities and ranch property offers plenty of opportunity for growth. The Christ-centered program brings structure, mentorship, leadership and academics. The school helps many types of students achieve their academic goals. They also have sports where they compete against other Christian and public teams.

This program and school has been restorative for our son and his relationships with others. The Brush Creek staff were so helpful, kind, and sympathetic to our needs when we first spoke with them. They assured us that the program would be able to work with our son and lead him toward restoration.
Before our son came to Brush Creek he was disruptive in our home, and though we tried many traditional routes, we soon realized that something like Teen Challenge may be the best option. We are nothing short of amazed in the positive change in our son.
Thanks Brush Creek Team!!
