The tech literally told me he was putting 36.5 pounds of pressure in my tires. I said you're kidding right . He said my tires need 35 lbs and he was putting extra because they hadn't warmed up yet? I should have said something on the spot but just went home and let the air out to the 33 pounds they should be.

I showed up as soon as they opened. Cam the owner guided me threw what I needed to get an oil change. The staff was personable and new what they were doing. Even went next door and got my alignment looked at Cam the owner did it personally I found that admirable and will definitely continue get my auto maintenance needs done here in the future...

Came for a state inspection around 5:45, and a guy came up to my window to direct me to the spot to pull up to and gave me instructions. Appreciated the fee being posted clearly ($18.50) and being open until 7 (most places close at 5 or 6). I was in and out in barely 20 minutes and everyone was helpful. Appreciate a local business and a badass female mechanic!

came in for an oil change and state inspection, no inspector on site, didn't have one the last 3 times i've came in. $30 for oil, understandable. $40 for labor on a 15 min max job. $70 total. used to go out of my way to come to this place, won't be coming back.

I'm never disappointed with the service here. Kassy is always very friendly, thorough and helpful. She takes the time to explain details of what's going on in your car and when I was out of town I had those same issues confirmed at another spot. It's nice to know that there are trustworthy people out there that are consistent in their quality of work. Thanks so much!

Had to stop in for a quick check and fill of my tire pressure. Cassie was very informative, considerate, and accommodating. Meeting such an endearing individual who seems to be doing what they love was very refreshing. I would definitely return.

First visit. Not impressed. Was not greeted when I pulled up. One attendant in the shop didn't acknowledge me so I waited. Another tech came to my vehicle and I stated that I needed an oil change. I confirmed that they were still honoring the advertised $19.99 change and then he starts trying to upsell me on a synthetic oil change. I told him no my vehicle doesn't take synthetic. He and another tech tried to upsell me as if I didn't know what my car needed. They quickly got attitudes and the process was very quick. I questioned what was actually done. The receipt shows everything checked and says washer fluid was filled. The washer fluid is bone dry. I don't appreciate services not being completed yet marking that they were.

I went to Castro Premium Lube on East Oltorf to get my vehicle inspected on 4/29/18. Israel Gomez inspected my car after a 45 minute wait. He said that it passed, but since the battery had been disconnected, it would have to reset. He said that it was related to me having the gas cap replaced. He told me to google "drive cycle for Toyota Camry". He said to come back within 15 days for a re-inspection. I googled the drive cycle reset and it is incredibly complex. I have another car and rarely drive this one. I drove it purposely to get it to reset I work long hours and arranged to take it back on 5/13/18. This was within the 15 days. They said that Israel was off and no one was there to do inspections. I explained what had happened. He hooked a cable up under the dash and said that it's good to pass now. He said to bring it in the next day. I told him that I was going out of the country and couldn't. He went and talked to someone and they said to just bring it in when I got back. I returned from my trip. I took it in today, 6/9/18. No one came up to me when I got there. I waited standing in the driveway for 20 minutes. I told Kassandra Luna what had happened and showed her the paperwork. She said that she would get to me after she finished the cars in front of me. This took 45 minutes or more. She came up to me after checking to ensure it had reset and said it'll be $18.50 again. I explained the situation again and she went to talk to her boss (Jose). Jose told her that I had to pay a second time. Kassandra asked me if I knew the names of the two people I spoke to on the 13th. I said that I didn't. I told her that I wasn't lying. I paid and went by to talk to Jose (Kassandra's boss) on the way out. I asked him his last name and he freaked out and refused to give it to me. There are many reputable places to have your car inspected and oil changed in Austin. This isn't one of them.
