Sunrise is such a great Asian market! They have a huge variety of items like frozen dumplings, vegetables, ramen, ceramic bowls, tea pots, and so much more. Employees are very friendly. Store is affordable/reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend coming here, especially if you are looking for something specific that can only be found at an Asian market-they probably have it.

If this place doesn't have it you don't need it! My daughter moved to Eugene from California, thinking she would never be able to find everything she needed to cook her favorite dishes. But boy was she surprised at everything they had. A little overwhelming and crowded at first, but you get used to it since they have everything you pretty much need.

Nice variety to choose from. Very pricey. Aisles are narrow so navigating with a cart is a pain

Good produce and great selection. Always have the ingredients I need to make Chinese, Thai, or Vietnamese cuisine. Love this little place.

Good parking , Good selection, but the price is way too high compared to Kings, and Asian Dragon in town.

I love this place. It has a wide selection of ingredients available - Filipino, Indian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai. I love how they have all the bowls, plates, cutlery that you'd see in an Asian restaurant. I've been able to find all of the ingredients for the recipes I enjoy making - gyūdon, kung pao chicken, pad see ew, pad kee mao, pad ka prao, vermicelli bowls, etc. They have the lemongrass, Thai basil, Thai chilis, refrigerated rice paper, gochugaru. All the unique Asian ingredients that might be hard to find in a general grocery store. Parking is easy to find, there are a few bus stops nearby. I like how it's located next to Market of Choice, so I can go there right after to get the rest of my ingredients.

My teenage son wanted to come here and buy the ingredients to make thai iced tea with boba so we set out to purchase the ingredients. Honestly i just asked where in the store were the products were sitting on the shelf from one of the young store clerks. He beelined for the shelf which was on an end cap. I found loose leaf tea in a big plastic bag and another one with uncooked tapioca pearls read to cook into boba. I watched a few vids on youtube along with following the directions on the product bag and it was pretty simple. My son loved the end result drink and i had fun making the beverage. Honestly good tasting, just going to make my tea a bit stronger next time. I dont have a thai tea sock yet... we made due with the strainer in my kitchen... oh and they sell the perfect boba straws too...

Seems like a good selection but I come for ingredients for Filipino and Polynesian dishes. They have the very basics but that's it (in regards to the two). However the produce didn't seem too fresh especially the yams. Based on my wants I gave it 3 stars but there's plenty of other good looking food/selections. Just not what I was hoping for.

I didn't realize they closed at 5 and I ended up not having much time there. But they have a lot of things, more than we have here in Corvallis. However the aisles are very narrow. They have mini shopping carts, and one of them almost takes up the whole aisle. It's hard to squeeze by. There were a lot of people there on this Saturday evening, so just trying to see what all they had was difficult. I didn't manage to see it all. I will go back some time when they are not likely to be busy. I left with fresh Thai chilies, gai lan, some sushi nori, an Indian peanut snack, some hing (asafetida) and some harissa. Good stuff.

Sunrise Asian Food Market was a nice find while spending some time in Eugene. While not a huge Asian store, they are packed to the brim with a nice variety of products. I called ahead, they answered the phone quickly, were friendly and had exactly what I needed...Shaoxing rice wine. I did a quick spin through the store and also found: - A 100 count box of Maxim Mocha Gold Coffee (sometimes I just want a fast cup and don't have the time to French Press). - S&B Golden Curry (great for a quick spicy vegetable curry over steamed rice. - Fukujinzuke (seasoned vegetables) which is the mandatory (at least in my book) cold, crunchy, sweet & savory vegetable relish that must accompany Japanese Curry. This is probably the largest Asian Grocery in the Eugene/Springfield area, so if you are in need, this is the place!
