When we got here this last weekend, the cabins were far from clean, there was grease all over the cabinets and drawers. The window sill was covered in bugs and the floors were gross. Our towels were stained and looked disgusting. The cabins are so close together that parking was difficult, definitely not enough spots. We rented a boat for 8 am the next morning and waited over 30 minutes for someone to come meet us. When we finally got on, it was obviously not cleaned out from the last people. The table was covered in stickiness and the seats and floor looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a while. We definitely won't be back.

I have stayed in a Grandlake resort here in Colorado. I must say that is nothing compared to Lee’s Grandlake. You guys gave personal and excellent service and went above and beyond any expectations of accommodations for my very large family. I like to apologize for the couple of incidents that happened while we were on your ground, I give you guys at five star 10, if it was possible your staff was very kind and courteous extended more to us than we had even anticipated you truly show the love of Jesus Christ and church service was awesome as well. We did have a ant issue but that is expected being that close to the sand and water so we did come with spray anticipating that, but overall you guys do have a five star resort thank you so much for accommodating and showing us grace and mercy in our bad moments. Thank you. Vanessa Collins Penson (Collins Family reunion) Houston Dallas forward, Amarillo, Texas,More, Oklahoma Oklahoma City, Pueblo, Aurora and Denver Colorado like to say thank you for your hospitality

We've stayed here in the past, but it had been about 6 or 7 years ago. It's a crowded place, but everyone was friendly. They are pet friendly so we booked a cabin this 4th of July weekend for my husband, myself, and two dogs. We found out about a month before our stay that the facility is under new ownership.
Let's start with the positive:
AC works great, free breakfast on the weekends, everyone is still friendly, the views are lovely (If no one is sitting in front of your cabin at the Picnic bench, designated for your cabin. It was a popular table though. We didn't use it). There was almost no privacy, and the parking is minimal. Again, crowded. Curtains or blinds for the sliding glass door in front of that table would have been nice.
The cabin floor didn't feel clean when I was walking around barefoot. There weren't adequate cleaning supplies in the cabin, so I went to the local Wal-Mart and got some items to bring back, like a sponge for washing dishes, sanitizing wipes, and a small vacuum. This was a pet friendly cabin, but I found poison bait boxes in multiple locations while I was cleaning, so I picked them up and put them in the bathroom under the sink. There were other people with pets that were staying there, but I don't think any of them cleaned up after their dogs. We cleaned up other dogs waste around our cabin multiple times, as well as our own. The kitchen cannot be described as fully stocked with what you need to prepare a meal. Barely stocked is closer to reality. But since I expected that, I had brought a few items of my own.
The "queen size" bed was actually a full size, that felt as though it was 10 years old.
The rules say no fireworks in the park, but I guess that's just a suggestion because there were families lighting them off right outside our cabin. But, it's 4th of July, we can let that slide. All things said, we still had a pleasant stay. I made sure to vacuum everything once our dogs were loaded for the ride home. Swept the front porch, all dishes washed, counters wiped down, no trace of the dogs. We are smokers, but don't smoke indoors and keep a smokles ashtray for travel. We sat on the porch, sliding door shut for smoking. We don't throw butts on the ground, but just like the dog waste, we had to pick up for other people, we picked up cigarette butts too. We woke up Monday morning to a $200 charge from the facility on our CC. We have no idea what it is for, but my husband will call about it. We had already decided that we probably wouldn't go back because of the over crowding, but the extra $200 charge after all the precautions we took to be good guests sealed it for us. This used to be a nice place. It may still be for some, but we will pass in the future.

Had a wonderful Independence Day weekend in our cabin! The staff is so friendly and helpful, breakfast is free, the cabin had TWO cooling units, and the Grand Lake views are AMAZING! I have 4 of 5 for the room (cabin) because I feel like there was nowhere to hang items, especially wet towels and clothes- could seriously use some hooks. The other reason is the lack of curtains/blinds on the side windows leaving us feeling a bit exposed, especially since we shared a deck with another cabin. Overall an amazing experience and would stay over and over again.

hospitality and the wonderful memories
Nearby activities: They have a beautiful deck overlooking the lake perfect for sunrise and sunsets

We've been going to this resort for the last 6 years. The last 6 years steadily going downhill they raised their prices. They should have lowered they put $0 in to any kind of upgrades. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Want to start out and share some thoughts on Lee's Grand Lake Resort. We have had our family reuinion here on Labor Day weekend every other year for the past six years. This place has been great for our group of about sixty people. It has changed owners three times, and some things get better, and some things get worse with each owner. All in all, this is a great place to stay. Great fishing, too.

Really nice place. Plenty of cabins to rent. They have a little on-site laundry so that's helpful. Super nice lady in the office.
