My aunt was there for a few weeks because she was weak after being sick. She would call me saying she had her light on overnight because she needed help getting to the restroom and no one would come. I went and her light was not even working. She had one shower in three weeks! She would try and get their attention for help when they would walk by her room and they would act like they didn't hear her. She called me one night at 11pm And said she had nothing to drink all day. I had to call there to ask them to bring her water . She is home now and she is missing clothes that they lost on her . She used to work there years ago and that's why she wanted to go there. She was treated like she was a burden. She's home now and she is still upset about how she was treated there . If you can't be there everyday to make sure your loved one is taken care of then don't send them here.

My aunt is in this facility and has dementia. The nurses have taken good care of her. The facility seems clean. She had an extra long OSU throw that went missing. I had purchased it for her, it was $50. The facility told my aunt and me that if I replaced it I would be reimbursed, this was back in December and I have heard nothing. I went today and asked about it and the lady that works the front desk was dismissive, rude, unprofessional and dishonest. She never came to my aunt’s room like she said she would and then when I called she tried to say my Aunt(who has dementia and is frequently confused) said that the nursing home replaced the throw. The blanket on my aunt is the one I purchased and have never been reimbursed for. Administration is shady for saying they would reimburse me and having no intention of doing so. It is shady that the throw went missing to begin with. My aunt has to buy her own incontinent supplies despite paying about $1400 a month to stay in this facility. No other nursing home I have heard of does this. So it is a clean facility with great nursing staff but theft is tolerated and they have no problem lying straight to your face. If not for the blanket and incontinent supplies I would give this place 5 stars because the nurses are great. The laundry staff might have sticky fingers and the clerical staff at front should be replaced.

My aunt was there for "therpy"! She had a terrible experience for those 11 days! The food was uneatable, therapy was a joke, they didn't answer the buzzer for at least 20 minutes and one time it was 60 minutes and she ask for a tummy pill and never got it! She still gets upset over the poor people who have to stay there. I'm not sure why the state hasn't shut turn down.

Bad place I don’t recommend it for anyone. My father was there for 3 weeks. Just to recover from surgery. He end up back to the hospital with real bad infection. Bc they didn’t take care of him…

This facility is a JOKE! My mother has been a resident there for over 4 months and has had the worst care ever. One nurse told my mother she needs to learn how to take herself to the restroom without help from them. They talk down to her to her face. The administrator knows all of this and has done nothing to fix the problem. I have called and called trying to get things fixed but nothing ever changes....

Would consider any place else than here. Very disappointed in the administration at this facility. Can not get anyone there to inform me about ANYTHING!!!!! I would definitely do homework and consider some place other than this place!

BEWARE!!! Do not send anyone here. In 2017, my husband’s was continuously demeaned by the head RN, whom also personally abused my husband. I attempted to get help from the administrator there who told me he had no time to listen to my complaints. The CNA’s advised me of much of the goings on there, and 8+ CNA’s told me, in a group, “Get your husband out of here before X (the head RN) kills your husband.” When I repeated this to the administrator he told me to give me their names, as they should be fired due to not having, “The Glenwood Vision”. I called and spoke with the Grace Corporation CEO’s secretary in OKC in 2017. I warned them. I pray many changes have been made. I am concerned about retribution as X ,head RN, did this to my husband after I complained to their corporate liaison.

Glenwood is a fantastic place for a start of a career into many fields..Plenty of hours offered here for full time or part time. The people are kind. Cna shift I had was great... Kindness is often found when you truly talk lovingly and kind to the elders or challenged.. Great place to make old friends.

I dont know about past management but I can say the current people at this facility are above average. Amber Donaldson in Human Resources goes the extra mile to both welcome and work with new hires. Lpn Bobby, trained me. I have never had a kinder, or more patient job trainer. The night shift aides not only cared about their job duties but also the people who were up at night.Nursing homes are notorious for staff issues. But at Glenwood I found people who did their jobs as best they could and loved their residents. During my employment there I did not meet one unkind nurse, aide, or administrative staff. I would recommend working here, to anyone.
