A group of us camp in the fall there for a few days.Grounds are well kept, quiet & clean. The cave tour guide seemed rushed. The facility could use some freshening up. No hot water (as a review 5 months ago pointed out) Drinks, snacks ice cream were not available.(as in past) Geode's box empty & Chimney Swift sinage torn and unreadable. Pamphlets gone. I hope some of this is addressed, we love coming to this park yearly.
Toilets: Restrooms clean, well taken care of. Had to take a cold shower, which in Oct. is a bit tough.

Beautiful State Park. Very well maintained and the staff is super helpful and extremely nice. Great base camp as you are within an hour of multiple state parks for your adventure.

Beautiful little park with 10 full rv hookups and some
tent spots. Landscape beautifully maintained! BATHROOMS FILTHY, SHOWERS FILTHY. If you don't need their bathrooms, you would be in good shape.
Playground: Well kept
Toilets: Filthy
Picnic area: Well kept

One of the best experiences I've had with a cave. Sadly, part of the cave was blocked when I went

I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the cavern and getting to explore one of Oklahoma’s wonders. I definitely suggest coming with good shoes that are able to grip the floor, especially if wet. Part of the cave entrance is closed off due to a collapse that they had a while back and are looking for state funding to help fix original entrance.
Also ended up taking some of the walking trails down to the bottom of the canyon and was impressed with all the views. Definitely would come back here again.
Toilets: The restrooms were pretty clean here.

The tour started at scheduled time and was highly educational. The tour guide was professional and very helpful and patient with some mischiveous kids. The cave was cool and well illuminated.
Things to have in mind:
1)there's low clearance from ceiling to floor in some areas.
2)the hardened mud on the floor and the loose alabaster rocks are very slippery so it's better to hold the handrails and use outdoor sneakers.
Bonus: there's some spectacular sights in and outside the cave.

Upper camp ground well maintained. Good price. Lower camp is primitive box canyon, limited light, trees an a creek, pricey $$. Bathrooms needs better care. Cavern tour is very interesting. Cool, slippery well worth 10$. Tour guide seemed bored. Had fun anyway.

2nd time here. After 2 years the cavern is still not app the way open. The staff was very informative and friendly.
Playground: We didn't have time to go because the tour was almost ready. Afterwards we went on a picnic and headed out.
Toilets: Clean
Picnic area: Tables in shade. Still hot out but the shade was nice.

This is a really neat, smaller cavern. We were rushed a bit during our tour but otherwise enjoyed the tour.

Going into the cavern was/is a great way to beat the heat and do some exploring underground! Our tour guide was really relaxed and informative, just adding to the experience.
My family and I will definitely be going back.
