They pick and choose when my medication is covered by my insurance. One month it's covered, the next month I'm spending over $50. So many years of using this pharmacy and never having a problem till this year. Definitely going to another pharmacy after this.

So my daughter had an infection in her finger and we went to the pharmacy at Walgreens in Elk City to get her meds and she has sooner care and hasn't had anything else for 3 years and they tell us she has another insurance on file thats not active and they can't use soonercare. I got frustrated because I'm like she has insurance and I didn't want to pay for it. I didn't yell lol but I got frustrated and I was like I don't understand the issue and its Saturday and she needs antibiotics and has an infection and has insurance. Well then the woman I'm talking to raises her voice so I raise mine then this guy jumps in and is like you don't need to act like that to my employee. I was like it's not personal but if you were on my side of the counter you would be frustrated to and that if it were your kid then you would be frustrated to. Then I said I don't appreciate being talked to like a child because I have frustration over having insurance and not being able to use it and the lady was like trying to apologize and he jumps in again and starts raising his voice at me and was extremely demeaning and I finally said I'm not coming back to this place and he's like ok I don't care and I'm glad you won't be back here. Then I tell him, I'm like sir, your escalating the situation by the way your acting because your rude attitude is making me even more frustrated and I just wanted to get my kids medicine. We walk off and he basically says he feels sorry for my kids ha I guess because I'm their mother so I turn back around and I'm like what did you say?! I did go off at this point because the guy made it personal. When I tell you I almost lost my whole mind! I didn't cuss the people and I also didn't yell until they yelled at me but I'm shocked at what happened. The big manager pulled me aside and said hey try homeland and was nice but why couldn't he have told us that homeland may be able to help us? Homeland did and I got her prescription but the audacity of some people!!!! Worst customer service experience!!!! The way you treat people is what will keep them coming back for your business!!!! Do better!!!!

The pharmacy staff is always helpful here, but they recently helped me figure out how to get an emergency prescription refilled. I don’t think I would’ve been able to get it without their help and advocacy, I’m so appreciative of them!

Don't forget they CLOSE the pharmacy 1:30 until 2:00, even I forget and have waited 25 minutes on them to come back. Store always has "orange" tag close outs, normally pretty good. Cashier is normally in the photo department if you need to Hunt them down. ... ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stars

I need to give this store and their employees/customer service professionals a Million stars! We were traveling through the area and needed to send a package containing heart ❤️? monitoring equipment with electronic information to the Chicagoland Veterans Administration Hospital. These two employees were very attentive and well educated as to the prepackaged directives! I was MORE than SURPRISED! Walgreens please recognize these two employees for their knowledge, expertise, expeditiousness, and professional, beyond expectations SERVICE! Those two exhibited teamwork & concern for an out of town customer! True GEMS! This occurred yesterday Wednesday June 28, 2023! Please be proud of these employees and they should be so proud of themselves! I could go on forever reviewing because THIS WAS SO REFRESHING! Hearts ?, flowers, hugs to these two employees! God bless them. They are sure to go far and continue to be successful in life! ???????????????????

The wait for outside pharmacy is often long... you have no !dea how long.... They do well in prescriptions. I like shopping here and they don't have pride/woke items in your face. I like the size of the store and their offerings as well as sale prices and rewards. Their photo shop does a great job on canvas enlargements and collages.

I drove 45 miles to get a prescription that I can’t get filled anywhere else due to shortages. I called ahead to see if it was ready. This Walgreens did not have a pharmacist on staff so the pharmacy was closed.

I like how organized this store is. The cosmetics and beauty area has a large selection of not only drugstore brands but also high-end products. The employee in the beauty area was extremely helpful at finding me exactly the product I needed. I was thankful for it because the item was in an area I definitely wouldn't have looked. However, where the beauty employee was super helpful and polite, the pharmacy employees were exactly the opposite. I stood in line for about 10 minutes to pick up a prescription sent by urgent care. There was only 1 person in front of me, but it took 10 minutes to finally get to the counter. Not having much of a voice, I gave the employee my VA ID plus the confirmation numbers of my VA pharmacy insurance. She took my information, put it into the computer, and said, "oh, we aren't contracted for the VA." Another employee came up and said, "yeah, we aren't contracted through them." No apology, no helpful advice, nothing except, "I don't think anyone in town contracts through the VA. I've never encountered this before. Even small pharmacies were able to call the VA and get it paid for. I was floored. I had to only get 1 prescription, and drugs are expensive, and still the employees weren't nice about it at all. I can't believe how poorly they treated me, an obviously ill veteran. I'm not asking them to be overly amazed and friendly because I'm a sick veteran, but I would like them to have some modicum of customer service.The experience made me feel way worse, and I really doubt I'll frequent this location again. Even if I did like the cosmetics counter.

Saturday 8/13/22. Female cashier PM shift extremely hateful to my Mother. Had my Mother in tears. From all the bad reviews, one would think you would make some changes. We won’t be back!

I have never posted a review but this Walgreens is a total waste of time. 0 stars customer service has not been trained there at all. Also can not get a prescription filled in a reasonable amount of time. so I was told that my insurance didn't cover a 90 day prescription. I could only get a 30 day. Well it dose accept 90 days. Couldn't figure out my coupon for pills either. Order online

Yesterday I took my mother in to pick up some things. The young lady checked my mother out then rang up my items. While she was doing this another employee, a young man, and proceeded to tell the cashier that she forgot to do something and she needed to get it and someother things done. We are trying to check and he did this, why? He couldnt have waited a few minutes until she was done checking us out? If I had thought of it faster, I would have told him he was being rude and to wait!

If I could give this place no stars I would it's a total joke EVERY SINGLE TIME iv refilled or gotten a prescription in the past 3 months they always tell me it's going to take 20 minutes and then I come back 20 minutes later and they tell me they never received my prescription this hasn't happened to just me all of my friends and family are having the same problem and it's not just my meds they do this with they do it to my kids meds to I finally just gave up and changed pharmacy oh and the delivery time is a fricken joke to I ordered a delivery at 12 in the afternoon I didn't receive it until that NIGHT AND that happens with all my deliveries it takes at least 4or 5 hours to fill a delivery I could walks to the pharmacy in the time it takes them to deliver

Horrible customer service we were in line waiting for about 10 minutes while the cashier “Kolten” was checking out a elderly lady… she clearly could not hear well and was trying to pay with a gift card. The cashier was very impatient with her. He couldn’t get the gift card to work and was acting sooo unprofessional! He slammed down the scanner on the counter as it started to tip over because of his frustration with the lady. Very inconsiderate and horrible customer service. I ended up paying for the lady’s items and he had no problem being “professional” with me. I put the lady’s stuff in her shopping cart and told her to have a great day. As I walked off the cashier was still being rude to her and not wanting to explain anything or why her gift card wasn’t working. He called another worker up to the counter so he didn’t have to deal with it.

Closed "temporarily" with no notice of when they will resume hours. I have a prescription that accidentally got sent there instead of Walmart, now what am I supposed to do? It's also not actually a Fed Ex place unless you already have the printed shipping label. Drop off only. They outright refuse to print labels for you. Even though I'm pretty sure they advertise that they provide that service. Idk this store is always a hot mess.
