I have been going to the Walgreens at 33rd and Boulevard in Edmond for years, but today is the 1st time I've ever written a review about them. The ladies at the front cashier desk are kind and always say hello when you walk in the door. However, this review is mostly about Makayla in the pharmacy. I have been having problems with my new insurance and she has spent 2 weeks working tirelessly with my insurance company, my doctor's office and Walgreens to get "prior approval" processed in order to get a new prescription filled and covered by my insurance. She has done a wonderful job going above and beyond. I can't even begin to say how grateful I am to her for everything that she did, especially since I was very frustrated and took some of my frustration out on her. But she had a smile each time we spoke and got it all fixed.

No customer service, cashiers are rude, no one seems to know what to do, is there a manager, or some sort of employee training.

They screw up at least a quarter of the scripts my family fills there. Pathetic. The new phone system basically blocks attempts to talk to a person. I loathe them for wasting so much of my family's time.

The shelves were decently stocked. The store was clean. They didn't have what I was there for, but it's a Sunday. I was hoping though. The c employees was polite, but not over the top.

I am FURIOUS. I go to this Walgreens ALL THE TIME, I have for YEARS. Walgreens is my one "weakness store" where I'll spend over $100 every time somehow and spend two hours in there! I went tonight and some stupid a** bi*** of a "worker" wanted to trip on me TWICE for looking at the makeup "too long" apparently. Asking if I'm buying everything in my cart. TWICE. Then proceeded to call the cops and have them follow me and make sure I wasn't stealing anything. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Why? Cause now you're gonna discriminate against a young adult wearing all black, black ripped jeans and a black shirt means I'm a thief? Or was it my tattoos? How about my bracelet that costs over $7k? Or my iPhones - YES, PLURAL? Coach bag and wallet? Apple Watch? None of that hinted I could afford my basket full of makeup and skincare items? Instead cause I am in all black and have tattoos all over my arms and hands and face I'm a thief? .........what a fu***** joke. AND I GET HOME TO REALIZE I DIDNT EVEN GET MY DRY SHAMPOO OR MY CHILDS MEDICATION BECAUSE I WAS SO RUDELY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AND FOLLOWED AROUND BY THE BI*** THAT CALLED THE COPS ON ME. And by the cops, but, it's their job and they were just doing what they're supposed to do to protect us. Regardless, I didn't get the MAIN THINGS I went there for because I felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable. 1,000,000,000 NEGATIVE STARS AND MIDDLE FINGERS TO YOU, WALGREENS. AND THE BI*** WORKER THAT JUDGED ME BASED ON MY APPEARANCE. I'm appalled. I'm livid. I'm disgusted. And this is our society today?

5-star customer service to the head pharmacist on Sunday afternoon! He saw a hold up on the needed medication for my sister's medical condition, and offered his time and suggestion to help us work through the problem. I feel and valued customer, and greatly appreciate his willingness to do his job for the community! Thank you, Dr. D. For your kindness!
