Good staff. Clean. Thankyou for taking care of our senior cat! ?⬛ Update: our senior cat passed the next day. I do not have a veterinary degree. However, the post-op medication for pets called Simbadol (buprenorphine) was the cause of his early passing. It was very traumatic due to him not being able to move for hours, he was not able to pee, to drink water, he stayed in the same spot for at least 12 hours. Tux couldn't even move his eyes. We were not made aware of the possible side effects. Tux had signs of ongoing compromised kidney function. Buprenorphine is metabolized by the liver and excreted by the kidneys. Tux should not have been given Simbadol. He passed away only 12 hours after the medication was administered. Please be aware, I am not blaming the doctors. They did the best they could. However, we should have done research on this medication before giving consent to administer this medication. Rest in peace Tux.

We take all of our dogs here. From the puppy to the geriatric dog, and most importantly our disabled dog. The staff is friendly and kind and have taken the time to learn each of our dogs likes and personalities. They have gone above and beyond to add quality to our disabled dog’s life and shower him with love when he boards with them. He is very picky about who he likes and the staff treats him like family. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in caring for my dogs. Thank you!❤️?

My fur baby got out and was found and brought to Sunset Veterinary Clinic. The staff took such great care of her until I could get there. Now I’m worried she will try to escape just to come to Sunset ?

Thank heavens for Sunset Vet clinic. I have entrusted the care of my dear fur babies to these wonderful people since 1997. Just recently my little Bella Rose got sick quickly, and fortunately Dr. Grimmett (Master Magician in Residence) was there and quickly diagnosed Bella and we were on our way home. Can’t thank you all enough.

Thanks to Dr. Grimmett and all the staff that I can breath a sigh of relief. My little Jack Russell came back from boarding just “sick as a dog” and the crew at Sunset Veterinary flew into action, drew blood and within 30 minutes we had a diagnosis. We went home with meds and by 6 that evening, she was playing tuga with her favorite toy. Love you all.

Very easy and quick to get refills processed via phone. Staff always prompt to pick up phone and pull up pets records. Staff always friendly and helpful.

Sunset Veternarian Clinic is fantastic. The staff is caring and always takes time to answer all questions. The doctors are knowledgeable, have a deep passion for helping keep animals (and owners) healthy and happy. I highly recommend them!
