My review is for the Vetco staff located at this store.I brought my partially blind & deaf dog, who's quite scared of the vet, to this location for a vaccine and the staff was absolutely amazing. They did such a fantastic job working with him and were so understanding. I was completely blown away by how kind & wonderful the staff were to work with.

This store is the actual worst! Every time I go in, the shelves are half empty. Yesterday I checked online to make sure the item I wanted was in stock (it was) so I headed out. I get there and it's not in the shelf. Grab an employee to help me and he brings be back to where I was looking and says 'Yeah it should be over here or something.' When I tell him it's not but the website says it's in stock, he said 'oh yeah our numbers are off' and then just walked away. Seriously?! I'll drive the extra 5 minutes to Petsmart from now on.

I went in to buy crickets at this location. They go ahead and charge me. An employee brings me the crickets, and it honestly looked like about half. So I asked if it was the correct amount. she then offers to recount which I appreciated. she then comes back to let me know there were actually 15 too many and not to worry she removed them....... my complaint was there were not enough. she did not show me the counter. Very upset I speak with the cashier (who was very nice) and I asked for the manager. Suzanne comes up and just looks stressed. she obviously has a lot to do. I explain what happened and she didn't really have any kind of response aside from "I'm sorry". No one would give me the name of the employee that gave me crickets, but she looked young with medium long black hair. I would have appreciated the manager recounting and at least assuring me the amount was correct, but she couldn't be bothered as they were rushing to close as it was about 30 mins til. At that point it was obvious no one really understood that the employee was out of line and the "manager" was eager to just get away front the front. I got my crickets refunded and went over to petsmart. They were friendly and she even Said she'd throw in a couple in case some die on the way home. TLDR: Don't go to Petco unless you want the souless husk of empty brained employees taking out their pathetic frustration on you. Go to Petsmart! The employees are over the top friendly and they actually have inventory.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!I brought my dads puppy in for him today 6/24/22 @ 1240pm for a 1pm confirmed appt. The groomer Austin had a pup on the table he glanced from 10 ft away at the screen and said I am certain your appt is at 2pm. I left back in to lunch hour traffic and construction and contacted my dad who text me the screen shot of the again confirmed appt at 1. When i returned I was met with hostility and a temper tantrum by the groomer who said I was the one who said my appt was at to. When I told him what he said and that customer was lacking he got up slammed his chair siad I am not doing this $#!% today. He then proceeded to cuss and have a fit in thw back room where my self and another extremely rude groomer named Katie could here him. The manager carla came in and I told her the situation she went in back where he continued to cuss and tell her NOT TODAY. I am so upset and so disappointed that a store I have shopped for years has people like this working here. We simply needed 5 seconds to verify our appt check in my dads fur baby and on with what started as a pleasant day. I will not be returning and I will do my best to be sure NO one ever has to be treated with such disregard and

Review of the GROOMING salon only... I have been there with a couple of different dogs and been very pleased with both the care and the results. The dogs have not seemed too stressed at pick up time. And I have gotten exactly the services I requested. I'll be back.

Great place. But not so much compared to NJ shops. I went there with kids with full expectation to see puppies and kitties but no luck. This is a small place! Rodents are not well cleaned. They must be short of crews. Looking to visiting other places.

I love this Petco! The people who work there are so nice. One of the groomers, Austin, is awesome at painting dog nails, even little dogs. For Halloween, he did the cutest candy corn nails. Heather and Katie are also great groomers. I can always trust them with my dog, Eevee. I would highly recommend!

Don't bring your dog to be groomed here unless you want to be talked down to by the staff and treated like crap. KATIE, who "groomed" my dog basically told me they couldn't trim my dogs nails and struggled to even bathe her. She said it was my fault for not bringing her in for 3 months? Sorry we've been in the middle of a pandemic? Have you been living under a rock or are you just that rude to everyone? She basically said it wouldn't be possible for me to bring her in to be groomed there because she is too skittish. She is a 7 month old puppy!!! It's fine, we won't be coming back there anyway and I'll make sure to tell my friends about my experience.

Do not use this store to buy any animals. My boyfriend and I were refused service to buy a turtle based on our appearance. That is discrimination.

Every time I visit this store I tell myself to go the extra two miles to a clean store. Go to a store that doesn't stink so badly. Go to a store with good customer service. Because I can assure you that this Petco has NONE of those qualities. The girl with short dark hair who rang me up today had an enormous attitude. She didn't like me giving her my phone number for her to type in and it really annoyed her when I moved my cart to the empty register aisle after I was done with it. She was just downright rude. Won't be back. It's worth it to go the extra few miles to the other pet supply stores in town. Disappointing!

I went in today to get a gecko... I asked if Adam was there (because he is the expert when it comes to lizards). The lady at the register told me he was not there until the morning. So I preceded to ask her if she could help me with the lizards. She told me that she couldn't help me because the geckos "run and bite"... so basically she couldn't help me. I asked her if there was someone else to help because she "couldn't". She said no and told me to come back some other time! Shouldn't there be someone there who can help with reptiles?! That is unacceptable.... needless to say I won't be back anytime soon!

Cashier failed to say thank you or show any type of appreciation. Unfortunately this happens all too often in the customer service portion of many businesses operation.
