Do not, under any circumstances rent from here. Our climate controlled storage unit was robbed of everything. They just now placed keypad handles on the climate control hallways. Prior, there was nothing stopping someone from walking into the climate control buildings after following someone in through the gate. (Possibly the only Morningstar property to NOT have these extra keypad codes yet with knowledge of constant break ins) The gaps above these units that allow air to pass through are so unnecessarily large that a man was able to climb OVER the door of our unit and unlock it from the inside by just unscrewing a bolt from the back of the exposed lock. (Confirmed by the police) Then he had all the time in the world to open the door up and clear everything out. He ended up taking over $100,000 worth of items. Their security footage only goes back 30 days so I suggest anyone renting here visits their unit regularly. The staff was just as bad as the facility. The guy at the desk was brand new and clueless. Manager was unprofessional, unhelpful, undertrained, and visibly annoyed by the situation (I assume she had to come in on her day off). Instead of waiting for the police to leave and make sure the situation was properly handled, she left midway to go eat lunch. (I had to listen to her eat and coach the employee on speakerphone). She also had no idea how to print a log of when my gate code was used and was determined that MY code had been used over and over again coming in and out of the facility - when in reality, it hadn't been used in months and that was when the computer updated and reconnected the gate to the system. The police agreed that she was making it sound like I gave my code (and key at one point) to someone untrustworthy and they did it, while no one knew my code and I was the only one with a key. The absolute worst experience, and it all could have been avoided if they would have implemented locks on the climate controlled buildings a year ago instead of September 2023. You'll notice in this picture the gap in the back of the unit is completely acceptable. A few inches to allow air to pass through, but not an entire body. Icing on the cake.. as I was leaving I met a sweet lady in the parking lot (I was visibly upset) and I let her know the situation and if she had a climate control unit she especially needed to go check. She informed me that 2 of her units (one in climate control, and one drive up) had also been broken into just a few months prior. I have spoke to staff that have informed me this facility is a target for theft yet there is no added security measures aside from camera footage (that tapes over itself every 30 days).

I've had no personal experience with storage units, & had heard nothing but horror stories about public storage. But, the people at Morningstar are truly amazing, & have made this process go as streamiled & simple as is possible!!

I had never used a storage facility before. Now that I’ve used Morningstar, I am a customer for life! Parker went above & beyond in assisting me! I was informed of seasonal deals, the complementary moving truck, & was provided drinks during a difficult move. Thanks again Morningstar & Parker for making this so easy!

Had a unit here for three years, during that time there was never a rate increase of more than $10/year, and never without at least a months warning.The staff are friendly, patient, and willing to help.The facility is clean, safe, and secure.Would rent a unit here again if I needed one.

Extremely clean units, customer friendly and will do their best to meet your needs. Excellent Customer Service - Michael and Taylor make sure this storage facility is the best, the cleanest and the best service I've experienced and I have had several units in the OKC area. I am changing to Morningstar from another facility within two miles away that I have had for about 4 years now . There's no comparison between the two!
