Been on the hunt for someone that really knows how to listen (key word) and cut curly hair. I have fine curly hair and learned that texture and layers are not always the best for this rat’s nest. I called and asked if they had a stylist that can cut curly hair without jacking it up (IE looking like a chia pet afterwards). The receptionist laughed and said yes we have someone that can cut curly hair. So I booked an appointment and hoped for the best. I explicitly asked for my hair to be blunt cut and that I wanted low maintenance hair. I even explained I have had many bad haircuts and was nervous for this day. She made the initial blunt cut which I was completely fine with at that point. Before I knew it, I was being convinced I needed to have texturizing and some layers. Again fine curly girl here which should not be done for my curls. There was not really any communication about what it would look like or how to maintain it. Or even an opportunity to fully comprehend what she was doing. Now granted my hair was not in the best shape, but was salvageable. I knew at least 2-3 inches needed to be blunt cut because my ends were so thin. Needless to say I walked out of there with my hair up to my collarbone and looking like a chia pet. Some stylist need to have restraint and respect for what the client asks for and what their expectations are (IE listen!). In hindsight I really wish she would have given me an opportunity to stop at the initial blunt cut before rushing to create a chia pet. I could have come back after the initial cut because you can always cut more hair. Sometimes less is MORE (IE slow the roll!). She did the complete opposite of what I originally asked her to do. And since my hair takes for ever to grow out, it will be a few years before this hot mess grows out. I will be living under hats for the time being and so upset someone would do this to a person and not make them feel pretty and confident. I would definitely not recommend this salon.

Lexi has worked magic on my hair taking it from a natural dirty blonde that had been colored, shaved - all the things - to a pearly level 9 color in a year or so! My MIL recommended her to me, and I was afraid to go but don't regret it. You won't either! Lexi loves what she does and it shows in her work. I'm picky and I truly always leave being happy with my cuts. She listens to exactly what I want and delivers. Aside from her talent, I've also been to Miranda's other salon in Edmond, Color Bar. Both are ran very well with attentive staff who care about the job they're doing.

Brett does a marvelous job with the highlighting on my hair - the color is always perfect and he’s great to talk to as well .
Would highly recommend him !

Was able to get the hair color in one sitting skin was in great shape. Would use again.
Another place color was close, but it took 2 lightening sessions and 2 toner my skin was raw.

Went in for a layered cut yesterday with Ramirez, they did a wonderful job and even texted me to get me in early! They have a lovely personality :)
For the building itself, the inside has a ton of personality and lots of cool stuff to look at. My haircut was done in its own little room, which made me feel fancy!! :D

Haircuts with Claudette are the best I've ever had. She only works weekends and I'm so lucky I found her to work with my most difficult hair. She recommended a product to help me with my loss of hair. Ever since I started using my hair falls less. Notice little fly-aways in photo. That's all new hair! Thanks Claudette.

I went in for a haircut, wasn't happy with it after a day or so and went back in after talking to the owner. It was a good experience and I'll be back in the future!

M Salon is the most wonderful place to fall into meeting a great stylist, getting to know them, and just enjoying the moment watching their creativity come to light on your visit. The atmosphere totally caught my jam. It is uniquely classy, so peaceful and love the music. My favorite part of the whole experience, is being a client of Shelby Morice. Oh my goodness! You have to book and meet this wonderful lady. Her nature truly brings peace and happiness when getting to know her, and just discussing with her what your interests are with your doo or if you are lost on ideas...that's where the awesomeness starts! She looks at your persona and style. Then, she discusses her ideas and the impact she can offer of your choice. The outcome she presents is something so special, while it's getting to know her and providing you with this most fab doo ever!! Shelby is extremely creative and talented with the color palette and a cut that you may have in mind. Please make an appointment and enjoy this lovely California native turned Okie. You will truly be happy that you did!

Shelby is such a professional when it comes to her job. Her first concern is to her clients and how they feel and look after leaving her station.
