Veteran friendly and unlike home depot, Lowe's offers a veteran discount all year long. All a veteran has to do is register with a phone number and they save you in the system. This particular location is one of the better Lowe's, it is always clean, shelves are well stocked and it's never messy. Any time I have asked a store associate for help they have directed me to the right area. There's a decent sized garden section during warmer months. The majority of their plants are well maintained but a few plants do seem to get skipped when it comes to watering.
It might be the same at all locations but this particular store seems to have one of the better light fixture selections that I have ever seen in any Lowe's.

I walk into Lowe's to return my herb which I purchased on May 13th it's a basil plant it has not been doing well. As a long time customer of Lowe's they have a 90 day return policy on everything regardless of the condition or original packaging. I walk up to the customer service desk explain to them the situation that I would like to get it exchanged or get a refund and rather than being helpful I get told by someone who has a cashier tag that we can't return that and I received no explanation as to why, then I point out to the sticker that is on the counter that says any plants or whatnot is returnable part of their policy for at least up to a year. Then I get informed by the so-called cashier that that sticker doesn't apply and she doesn't know how that sticker got there in the first place at this point I asked for a manager. The procedure told me she is a manager and I asked her how can you be a manager when your tag says cashier. Then another lady walks over and reckless the same thing that the herb cannot be returned and does not give me an explanation and then follows to tell me that in order for me to contact the manufacturer of the herb that I should Google their number. If this is the kind of customer service that we can expect from Lowe's so-called managers and what not why would anybody want to shop at this store. If the individuals behind the counter are cashiers but claiming to be managers they should be well aware of their own policy which states that anything can be returned within 90 days of purchase regardless of the original packaging or condition which these two so-called managers failed to recall or remember. Is this level of deception and lies that deteriorates a customer's loyalty to Lowe's. The situation turned pretty dire when they became very unprofessional in front of my 6 year old daughter and at that moment I decided to leave the store and reach out to corporate to file an official complaint which I did. Corporate Lowe's customer service representative confirmed that Lowe's does have that policy and he and his manager were perplexed as to why these two so-called cashier managers refuse to accept this return. If cashiers are managers then are managers directors or is this just how false advertisement and lies works at this particular Lowe's. I can't help but to think that if I was not a person of color maybe I could have been treated differently maybe if I was blonde at hair and blue eyes maybe I could have gone to better customer service from these two individuals or from this store maybe I could have actually spoken to an actual manager instead of just getting brushed away and being told to go away. I've been shopping at Lowe's for over 15 years I've been a resident of Edmond for 15 years and I can assure you after this experience I will never step foot in this Lowe's ever again.

It's a very big hassle for us contractors to have to wait for an employee to unlock cages for us! If you ate going to lock it,make sure there is someone always available to unlock the cage at all times.

I bought kobalt trimmer about a year ago. The bump head broke. Tried to get replacement. They don't have unless there is warranty. None in store. Online I got generic one. Didn't fit. Returned it.
Had to buy another one. Got it from home depot. Great deal on ryobi 18v plus one. Came with leaf blower to. Very helpful staff.

I’m about done with Lowe’s. They have significantly reduced the items that are eligible for military discount and there is never an open register. I am not a fan of digging out my drivers license to scan, then scanning all of my items, asking for help and then having to be signed out by a cashier who lacks enthusiasm.

Just in case anyone needs to know. If you buy an appliance at Lowe’s you have 48 hours to return it if you don’t like it/it doesn’t work. If you put it on your Lowe’s card you have 30 days. I tried to return ours at 32 days after purchase, we feel isn’t washing our clothes properly and no one would help us out. Wish I would have known before I bought it.
