TABATHA, the so called "manager" has absolutely no business representing this store. I can understand that everybody has a bad day once in a while but she seems to have a bad day everytime she works. She's rude, dismissive, sits in the back room while customers are waiting at the register and then gets very angry and upset when she has to work the register. She does this by making comments that she has a lot of things to do and that she doesn't have time and slams things around making it very obvious that she's upset that she has to tend to paying customers. I will make it my life's mission to get in contact with a district manager to make sure that they are aware of her behavior.

6/9 @8:45pm the store was locked with no one inside. When I was pulling out a truck pulled in and it was the cashier. She seemed off and wouldn’t let me come in the store because she didn’t have the registers out. Store says it closes at 9pm.

Some of the previous reviews notwithstanding if this Store was indeed as bad as they describe then Staff and Management have done a major turnaround and are to be commended. We've always found it to be as neat and orderly as can be expected given product is constantly being delivered and the shelves are always being restocked. We're always greeted in a friendly manner and asked if we need help. Its an asset to the Community in being a great place to pop in and pick up small things that don't warrant a drive into Edmond proper. We're there semi regularly and always leave with a bag of stuff that is useful and reasonably priced.

When my online coupons wouldn't apply in store, the 2 gentleman worked for nearly 10 min (10 min before closing time) to get my in store price to match my online price. They were really nice about it and very patient. This location is by far the best in the Edmond area! Really clean and organized store as well!!

In the past we've avoided this store bc of how cluttered it was. Today my daughter and I went in to find items for a school project. Cornelius was AMAZING. He led us right to the section we needed (said he had helped another student the day before). He even suggested things for the project that we hadn't thought of. He and Logan at the checkout even quizzed my daughter on different cell functions as we checked out. This was truly the best customer service I've ever had. I'm so thankful that the local Dollar General has improved so much! A great experience.

This store has steadily gone downhill. But the last several months it’s has become a total dump. You can barely get through the isles and the shelves are in total disarray. Just seems like there is no pride in how the store is kept.Update: things are changing…after a two day “remodel” they have made some improvements to this store. The most obvious is that someone saw fit to clean it up. Floors are clean, isles are clean and the register area has been changed and has less clutter. Remodel = cleaning up and rearranging the isles.

It did have a sign that says "sorry for the mess" but yikes some areas looked a little too dirty & hazardous for me. I felt bad for the young cashier b/c he seemed nice and is probably a newbie, but he looked like he was the only one there working with no help. I wanted to get more things and maybe browse, but there weren't any carts- (the manager couldn't even find any) Take note: this is around 10am with hardly any people. I couldn't hold all items in my hands so I couldn't get all the things I wanted- their loss I guess. While waiting in self-checkout, I overheard the customer in front of me say she accidentally scanned an item twice so we waited a bit for the manager to come correct it and then she left. Come to find out after my purchase and returning home, I realized that the first item of mine rung up twice as well and I unknowingly paid for it. Seems suspicious to me. Hope they're not trying to get over on people in hopes they don't notice. I'm irritated, but I definitely don't want to go back there. 1. Fix that machine, 2. get/hire more employees to help so all the responsibilities doesn't fall on one or a few people, 3. Pay them (cashiers & managers) well/what they deserve and treat them fairly (think about it...what would we do without essential workers...Nobody can buy anything if you don't have ppl that work there.) Dollar General corporation please do better. Just my two cents that nobody asked for, but oh well...deal with it.

This place is close to my house and I have to run in there from time to time for convenience as we live in a rural area but this store is filthy. The floors literally look like they are NEVER cleaned. Lots of disorganization!! I love DGs and wish so bad this one was up to par. The people that work there are nice for the most part and for that I give them the 2 stars.
