“This store reminds me of one of my favorite stores outside of Oklahoma called Dirt Cheap. I like how random the selection of items are— you never know what you will find. I found so many oddly specific and niche things that I have been needing. I will probably be visiting an embarrassing amount of times in the future!Edit: I’ve gone many times now and STILL five stars!! I always leave feeling really happy to find stuff I’ve been wanting for such a great deal. I do want to note though, for others who have not visited, that visiting at 10am on Saturdays is a free-for-all. People line up outside before opening and unfortunately a lot of these people coming in here are coming in just to resell everything on eBay. They will fill their carts up past the brim within minutes, so you will need to be quick if you are just an average customer if you want to get the best deals. I have found some really amazing things, sometimes getting $300 worth of stuff for $50. I seriously love this place, but want to warn it is a bit of a madhouse on restock day and is not for the weak, LOL!”

“Hidden gem! So many great purchases here. It's worth coming each change of season and holidays because they rotate relevant items. For example, I got some cool summer yard games in the summer and then cute winter mugs and cozy items when it turned cold. Also, who knew they had so many cute anime items?! Little figures and graphic tees etc. Even work out gear and tech stuff, like water bottles and yoga mats and Bluetooth speakers etc.!! Plus, it's clean and smells nice and the staff are sweet. My most recent favorite purchase was for these adorable and cuddly plushies. I just wanna grab Starbucks and look around in here on a Saturday and vibe tbh lol”

“I love to shop Big Lots, we have purchased a lot of furniture from them, but the only problem I experienced is the inventory on the furniture, they don’t have an accurate count on merchandise and when they call another store for you to pick up furniture, you get to the other store and they won’t have any. So you are sent across town and they will be out of the product. A trip for nothing. It is a little frustrating but nevertheless I still shop there.”

“This is one of the cleanest and nicest Dolllar General stores I’ve been in the aisles are organized and clutter free! The employees are hard working and helpful. This store also has produce!”

“I absolutely love this store, it’s one of my favorites! But, for the love, please train your employees to take off the security tags. I can’t count how many times I’ve walked out of the store with a security tag attached and the alarm didn’t go off. Then I have to make another trip up there to have it removed, annoying.”

“I love this dollar general it's always clean and all of the people that work there are very good and very nice. But it's probably because they have an awesome manager. And you know they say all that stuff filters down.”

“Some of the previous reviews notwithstanding if this Store was indeed as bad as they describe then Staff and Management have done a major turnaround and are to be commended. We've always found it to be as neat and orderly as can be expected given product is constantly being delivered and the shelves are always being restocked. We're always greeted in a friendly manner and asked if we need help. Its an asset to the Community in being a great place to pop in and pick up small things that don't warrant a drive into Edmond proper. We're there semi regularly and always leave with a bag of stuff that is useful and reasonably priced.”

“I read a lot of the reviews prior to writing this one. I agree with some of the concerns that have been expressed. I have had multiple online orders canceled without notice and I do think the store needs more employees as well. My rating is mostly reflective of the employees and manager of the store. This store specifically is cleaner than others I have been to. They have everything I am looking for when I go there, but even with cancellations and sparse employees in the store, the staff is absolutely amazing.I had an incident with a Dollar General employee who, does not work at this store but was working at this store the day I went shopping there. The incident itself was extremely upsetting. I went to the self checkout register. One of the regular employees was replacing the receipt paper on the register I went to use. Standing there waiting for her to finish, she could see I was about to cry. She asked me if I was okay. I proceeded to explain to her what had transpired 10 minutes prior involving an employee there. During my conversation with her, I really tried hard not to cry, but I was a mess because of the incident. This employee stopped everything she was doing, listened, genuinely comforted me in that moment and gave me the general manager's personal number. I contacted him and he initiated an investigation into what had happened at their store. During this time he communicated with me several times and handled my complaint with the seriousness it deserved.I recently visited the store for the first time since the incident I spoke of. There was new employees who were amazing to deal with.Sometimes you need to remember the issues in a store have nothing to do with the employees or management. They are only doing the best they can with what corporate has given them.I won't shop at any other Dollar general. This store has shown that they truly care about their customers and will do what they can to help you in any situation.”

“I’ve seen such vast improvement in this store location in the past couple of months and I’m loving it! The aisles are clear, the shelves are stocked and the outside of the store is clean and picked up! No overflowing trash, etc. it’s for sure the only location in Edmond I frequent now. Keep up the great work!”
