I recently took my poodle, Coffee, to Deer Creek Animal Clinic, and I was incredibly impressed with the care he received. Dr. Rowland and the entire team were amazing. They took the time to thoroughly examine Coffee and patiently explained everything to me in detail. Their genuine care and attention to detail really stood out. Coffee was comfortable and well looked after throughout the visit. It’s clear that everyone at the clinic truly cares about their patients. I wholeheartedly recommend Deer Creek Animal Clinic for anyone looking for a compassionate and dedicated veterinary team.

Dr. Rowland and her staff are the absolute best!! They are always so friendly when we come in and remember us. Dr. Rowland is always happy to answer my 101 questions. Just all around a great place!! (Sin always enjoys the cuddles!!)

The staff and doctor are lovely, caring people. So happy we found them. A fancy clinic is not necessary for quality pet care. I learned more about how to care for my pup our first visit than the last six months at another clinic.

Friendly and knowledgeable. My dogs were very nervous and they treated them with kindness. The problem they had was a kind of silly one I probably should have known, but they were kind to me and didn't make me feel dumb.

Dr. Sara Rowland is truly remarkable. I first met her when I urgently needed a vet to help my aging cat peacefully cross the rainbow bridge. Unfortunately, my original vet of 3 years declined to see her, despite my prior visit, leaving me with a bill of over $700 and a load of medications. As a physician assistant, I felt it was unfair to continue my cat's life at 17 with so many medications, no improvement, and tons of pain. The following day, my vet refused to assist in euthanizing her, leaving my poor kitty in distress. They stated they just could not fit me in despite having seen my pet the day prior. Frantically seeking help, I called five places and was on my way to the emergency room when Dr. Rowland's team squeezed me in. They urged me to bring her in for a checkup and to discuss the best course of action. The front desk staff reassured me and advised caution while driving. When I arrived 12 minutes after hanging up the phone they had already requested and received the medical records from Santa Fe vet clinic. Despite never having been their patient, they accommodated me. Though unable to afford an ER visit, I was willing but hesitant due to the stressful environment it could create for my beloved pet. My kitty is now in a better place. Subsequently, I adopted a new cat named Percy, who has received excellent care and compassion from Dr. Rowland's team. They've always been responsive to my needs, even when I brought in a friend's anxious Belgian Malinois. Dr. Rowland's expertise shone through in handling such a large animal with remarkable care and a calm demeanor. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice. I cannot emphasize enough how exceptional Dr. Rowland and her team are. I never feel rushed, and they never pressure me into unnecessary procedures for the sake of profit.
