Awful cashier: (night shift guy on 5/9/24.) The place is a mess, isles crowded, most items are overpriced and the hours are terrible.
I made a simple mistake with their card reader. He said in an aggressive tone, “It has a swiper on TOP, card READER on the BOTTOM.” I square kid, “I must be stupid, huh?” To his silent snicker of confirmation.
Look, my mom died today in a tragic accident. You bet I guilted him with this news. He shook my hand superficially with feigned empathy. Last thing I need is my feelings invalidated and self-esteem trashed from a projecting, prejudice, low-rent cashier.
