FYI - Something I learned today and hope will help others. If you place an order and the store cannot locate inventory in-store, Ace will cancel your order without communicating with the customer. Inventory may exist online at the time, but they will not convert the in-store pickup to an online order. Any Ace Rewards or payment methods will be on hold for 3-5 business days, removing your ability to use Ace Rewards on another online order until these have been processed. If you were wanting to purchase something on sale, this may impact your ability to use the Ace Rewards on that sale.

I went to purchase a STIHL KombiMotor KM 131 R Gas Multi-System Power Head from this Ace Hardware store in Edmond - paid $459.99 for what I thought was a brand new tool.When I gave it to my husband for his birthday he noticed it was used, rusted, and still had fuel in it. We called the store Manager CRAIG and his response was "Call Stihl, you have a warranty!!!" Was a total asshole on the phone, lied and said he didn't have another NEW one in stock. We went up there immediately and discovered he DID have another new one in stock.He proceeded to hand it over without even apologizing or transferring the warranty over to the new serial number. If this store cares at all about its customers and service, I think they should maybe rethink keeping Craig on as Manager. He was incredibly rude and unapologetic- a total lying asshole.Avoid this store at all costs.

I only leave unfavorable reviews if I have had poor experience multiple times. I'm not sure what time of day I should be going, based on other peoples' reviews stating that the staff is helpful, but I've found it almost impossible to find anyone working in the paint or outdoor/lawn areas. There is typically only one kid working (with brown hair and glasses), who, on multiple occasions has acted like I was a burden by making him stop scrolling through his phone. He never greets me, even though I always say hi and thank you at the end. He just says 'yep'. He seriously needs an attitude check, and more employees need to be available to answer questions. Unfortunately, I am using Benjamin Moore paint, and Ace Hardware is the closest place to me that sells their products. It may be worth the drive to go somewhere else moving forward.

You forget what good customer service used to be like until you come to an Ace and this store is no different. Staff is friendly and willing to answer any questions or help you with anything you need. Great prices and great place to find the occasional clearance deal too!
