SCAM ALERT!!!! SCAM ALERT!!! Yesterday my wife stopped by to get a slow leak in her tire patched. The car is a 2022 Hyundai Tucson. It has had a slow leak for several days and she finally made time to get it fixed.
She spoke to one of 3 employees at the front desk. They took her wheel and tire off to diagnose the problem and came back and told her that her tire was “non repairable”. They said that it had a “nail in the center of the tread and 4 other small holes” also in the center that were several inches apart and that “ were also leaking air” according to the employee. They even took a picture of the tire for her with 5 scary looking circles around each of these holes to show her how badly damaged the tire was.
The Man at the desk said that they could sell her a new tire and could have it mounted in 30 min. They didn’t have her Michelin brand tire in stock and she wanted to keep all the tires the same so the employee said that he could order her the exact same tire and have it in the morning. In the meantime they put her (donut) spare tire on and put the non repairable tire in the trunk all at no charge.
My wife told them that the tires only had 20,000 miles on them and that she had Road Hazard from the Hyundai dealership in Sherman so she needed to check with them.
My wife had to drive 60 miles home after work yesterday and could only go 50 mph (this is the Max speed rating for the donut spare) with her hazards on and cars and Semi trucks zooming around her at 75 mph on Hwy 69/75. This was very dangerous for her and everyone who passed her.
This morning my wife made a special trip to Sherman( took off of work) to the Hyundai dealership to get the tire replaced under road hazard warranty.
Hyundai took the tire and checked it to confirm that it was ruined as Stuteville Tire & Service had claimed before replacing it under road hazard but after having 3 different technicians inspect the tire they determined that it only had the one nail hole.
They patched the tire and said there was “only 1 hole, NOT 5 holes”!!! They assured her that the tire was “perfectly safe” and it WAS NOT RUINED” or “dangerous” as my wife was led to believe by the front desk workers at Stuteville.
BEWARE of Dealing with this Business. They were super nice but they put her in unnecessary DANGER on hey 69/75, tried to SCAM her out of a new tire, caused her to waist half her day today and she also had to cancel a health care appointment just to find out that Stuteville is praying on unsuspecting and TRUSTING customers.
These people looked my wife in the eye and prayed on her fears when they insisted that the tire was unsafe and backed the statement up with a picture of her “unrepairable” tire.
This is a picture that my wife took of her tire with all the holes they marked and claimed were in it.
Let me remind you that the Hyundai dealership checked all 5 circles for air bubbles which indicates leaks and the only leak was the 1 nail in the tire.
…BEWARE…and get a second opinion before they use their scare tactics to rush you into a hasty and potentially unnecessary purchase as they tried to do with my wife. They will claim that they are looking out for your safety but it may just be your hard earned money they have their eye on.
I don’t usually write review but i feel like its my Duty to warn you about our experience at Stuteville Tire & Service.
Thank you

We purchased our Jeep at Stuteville Chevrolet I'm Durant, Oklahoma since we now live in Oklahoma. We had an overall good experience at the time until we asked about our license plates. I was told by our salesman that we have to go to the Tag Office to get them which was new to us since in Texas we get from dealer. Once at the Tag Office, I got my check book to pay and was told "here's your amount due" $2,777.00, Just like that! We don't have that kind of extra money! Then it goes up by $3.00 a day till we pay it! I called the Finance Mgr. to get some kind of understanding as to how this happened and he said we acknowledged that tax title and license were not included; however, he could have warned us what that entailed knowing we were new to Oklahoma laws and regulations. I would have negotiated car purchase totally differently. He then proceeded to tell me he could have included in the deal then but too late now cause it had funded so now we're in a hole! This car purchase turned from a great experience to a horrible one and could have totally been avoided if they'd had our best interest in mind and provided total transparency to the custome!

Took a 2018 Chevy traverse to get the oil changed and tire rotated, they called and said the air filter needs replaced. Asked what will the total be once completed, they gave us a price of $137 and some change. Two hours later picked the vehicle up and the total ended up being $225 and some change. Told the guy what was said on the phone and he said, yeah that was just the air filters and labor not the oil change. Now mind you, they had the filters out to blow them out and inspect them (covered in the service fees) but they charged another $15.00 to put the new ones in. Checked prices of the filter at other dealerships and they was half the price these people charge. Could have put K&N filters in for the price they charged. Time to find another service place!!!!!

I have been been going to Stuterville Tire & Service to fix a slow leak in my Honda Insight, that has sixteen inch tires. Same Tire, driver side rear, four visits, over a year. Today I get slow leak. Same Honda, Same tire. I measured the driver side rear first 34 psi, driver side front 40 psi, passenger side 40 psi, passenger side rear 40 psi. After all this I'll be taking business elsewhere. I almost bought four new tires at Stuterville.
