All of the professors and staff I've come across have been helpful and amazing. The school has different programs. Tuition is a great price. There are student involvement opportunities.

Just finished my first week at Central Tech Truck Driving School and I am not impressed. I am actually embarrassed the company I work for paid my "education" here. The "teacher" has a middle school reading level, at best. He stumbles through Power-Point presentations, designed to help the students learn material set us up to teach the knowledge required to pass the CDL permit test, and then does the quizzes with the students, giving us the answers, while getting many of the questions wrong himself. It is not an efficient or successful way to learn. I'm not confident he could pass the CDL permit test himself; he even declared to us that he was not sure he could pass the CDL permit test himself again. It has not instilled any kind of confidence for the students in our class.He is aggressive, moody, and contentious. For example, he came into the classroom a few minutes late one morning, declared that for the rest of our time at the school, we are to fill out an hours of service report. One student was confused whether he meant to start the process that day or on Monday, after we started driving. He yelled at the student for being confused and proceeded to ask the student if he was getting mad. After which he informed the class that we all "better get thicker skin if we are going to be around him." Learning environments should be positive, encouraging and inspiring. I would not recommend paying any kind of money to this excuse of a "school." I have four more weeks to complete at this school, and I only hope the driving instruction is more valuable and educational than the classroom instruction has been so far.

Teachers coming to school with covid! Absolutely ridiculous! They are putting our children at risk instead of keeping them safe. Will be contacting the school about this.

Went there almost 20 years ago! Wow, has it really been that long?!Best training to be a truck driver anywhere we had checked. Haven't heard anything bad about CenTech in all these years!

I was a student there back in 2005 for someone who never drove a truck it took me the entire month to become a truck driver. Staff were great class size was only 8 students. Facility has everything needed to train. Great small town great people from staff to locals.
