DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION! My husband I got recently got married and are totally new to filing taxes together. We decided to talk to someone at this location to see if we were on the right track. When we walked up to the lady at the booth, she had her headphones on watching a movie on her phone. She took one of the buds out of her ear as we sat down and continued to "listen" to the movie as we spoke. She seemed uptight, so I attempted to make small talk by telling her about us getting married in December and how my husband is in med school and I'm doing my PhD. She said "it doesn't matter, just show me your W2" with a very snappy attitude. My husband smiled and told her, "as my wife just mentioned we were both students." She snapped back and said "well, you're going to get $10 back then." She said this without looking at any sort of form or running numbers on a computer. I was confused because when I was on turbotax attempting to figure everything out, our refund came to almost 700. I asked her if the refund amount was affected by my investment portfolio (which she didn't even ask us about) or charitable donations. She asked me for the amounts and said they weren't enough for any additional refunds. My husband stood up and said we were going to speak to a CPA since she didn't know what she was talking about. She yelled back that she did know what she was talking about since she had been doing this for 11 years. I smiled and told her "you're really rude," then proceeded to walk away. Turns out she didn't know what she was talking about because we ended up getting $670 back :)

I would not ever recommend them to anybody. They made the advance sound so good and acted like I was going to get top dollar if I filed with them, i am getting almost 5 grand back and I only got 500 dollars in advance and they charged me 500 dollars to file. My wife went to h and r block and is only getting back 2 grand and got 500 dollars in advance and only paid 300 to file. I will never file with Jackson Hewitt again. The lady that filed my w2 was very unprofessional and rude, and had to call her boss to walk her through the process of how to file my w2.
