“No complaints. Clean and safe. Rooms are big and modern. Towels are good, bed is great. A small kitchenette has most of what you need, but no frying pan? We have a can opener, two pots, serving for two. Microwave, two burners, full size refrigerator, toaster. The only thing I don't like is the shower head won't adjust as far as the water trajectory.Noteworthy details: There's a Walmart about half a mile away. A couple of restaurants close.”

“Great location to easily get to restaurants. Rooms were nice, clean and ready for us. The customer service was wonderful. The staff were all very kind, especially Kristen, who was very fast when it came to the valet service. Overall we had a wonderful time!”

“Had a great experience there while celebrating my 1 year wedding anniversary with my wife. We opted for the king corner suite which put us on the 15th floor. The room felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, we loved it! The complimentary breakfast as well as the hotel bar were incredible. The breakfast menu included an omlette bar, made to order! For the bar, from 5-6:30 the hotel provided complimentary snacks as well as 2 drinks. Our barter Stormie was great! She had great energy and was ontop of her game with all the guests needing drinks. Not only did she run the bar, she also brought up our room service. Not sure what else she did there, but she had definitely earned her paycheck with how much we saw her running around! The pool was nice, as well as a gym with dumbells up to 75 pounds. This hotel was truly a hidden gem and made for an amazing getaway. We will definitely be coming back!!”

“I usually stay here for work when I’m in town. One of the coolest hotels I’ve ever been to. When you walk in there are people to greet you and make you feel super welcomed. All the hotel staff is super nice and friendly. I especially had a really good experience with one of the hotel staff named Val. They don’t have A laundry room, but they will take you for free to the closest laundromat. And Val drove me and picked me up he’s a really cool guy and most definitely deserves a shout out!! Also The cleaning staff is top tier never had a complaint.”

“These people take a lot of pride in their work and it shows. Everyone is so courteous, and the service is unmatched. We showed up early and did everything they could to accommodate us as quickly as possible, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast service was excellent and those working genuinely seemed pleased to help. Excellent experience all around.”

“The room overall was nice. The beds however were not the most comfortable. It was ok for a over night stay but anything over that your back will be hurting. The staff here was also very friendly and polite.”

“An absolutely lovely night. Cocktails, delicious food and great service. I wish we lived closer. We ordered the signature cocktail, Lollabrigada, marinated olives, bread service, steak frites, smoked spare rib ragu, olive oil and lemon cake and coffee. Perfect night.”

“What a fabulous place to stay! I’ve lived in OKC area over 10 years and have always wanted to stay at the Colcord… and it happened! Everyone was so nice from the check in process, to room service, and the staff walking by! And their Christmas decorations were beautiful. You have to stay here, you will not regret it. They made ringing in the New Year so fun!”

“This is perhaps my third stay at a Residence Inn by Marriott, it’s one of my favorite properties. The suites are apartment size with living/dining with a desk, kitchenette and then bedroom with a spacious vanity outside the bathroom, great for multiple guests getting ready in the morning. This hotel also features a hot breakfast. Staff are very polite and solicitous.A few nit picks:1. Room needs some outlets for plugging in Internet cables without standard Edison plugs.2. The hotel’s policy is refresh housekeeping every other day . I asked the front desk specifically for daily for our two day stay. I confirmed it next morning and still, the room was not made up. To their credit, once I reported it, engineering immediately brought up towels and wash clothes I requested.I still think this is a fine property and by bringing these small things to their attention, they will be even better.I can contemplating bringing a hobby convention to this hotel.Rooms: Rooms were covered above. They are spacious suites with a combined living / dining / kitchenette area and a separate sleeping room and vanity outside of the bathroom.Nearby activities: The hotel is in Lower Bricktown near a very picturesque canal with restaurants lining it, much like San Antonio’s River Walk. It’s a half block from both Oklahoma Streetcar lines serving the rest of the historic Bricktown area of shops, bars and restaurants. So other than an inexpensive Lyft ride from the airport, one can entirely rely on public transport in this otherwise car-oriented city. Hotel does have lots of free parking available.”

“Home 2 Suites Oklahoma City South is a great place to stay. I spent 3 weeks there and had a great stay. Maria and Christina at the front desk were amazing Anytime I needed something or had a question to ask, they were there to help. If you are lucky, and you forget your laundry in the dryer in the evening, one of them might even fold it for you before you come back to get it ?.Rooms are nicely furnished and vary depending on if you have a 2 queen, single king, or king suite. I had a single king with a sleeper sofa and both were comfortable. Kitchen has a dorm style mini fridge, sink, microwave, dishwasher, dishes for cooking, and dishes for 6 people. There is no stove, however there are counter top burners available at the front desk. Living area of the room (across from bed and couch) has a nice desk, roll out table, dresser with drawers and 2 cabinets, 2 book shelves, and small closet area. Bathrooms are nice and I always had hot water.Cons for the room for me at least, are the TV's are not smart tv's and the tv guide (channel 1) is horrible. There is free WIFi though slow (10mps for me) and there is High Speed internet but it is $5/day. There were connections for hardline internet in the rooms but I never got it to work. Hallway doors are loud at times but not unbearable, and whoever was above me either walked heavily or the floors/ ceilings are poorly insulated and can be distracting at times.Location of the hotel is great as it is centrally located south of downtown and centrally located between Mike Maroney Aeronautical Cemter (FAA)/Ok City Airport and Tinker Air Force Base. It will take a bit longer to get to the north side areas of town but nothing unbearable. There are lots of places to eat and just about any store you could need within a short distance.Bottom LineIf you are looking for a great place to stay outside of downtown with great staff and high speed internet is not a must, I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Oklahoma City”

“This place was absolutely incredible! My wife and I stayed in the Emerald Glen Suite the night of our wedding. The room is gorgeous! And beautifully set up. Very homey feel and the hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The carriage house was currently vacant so, we were able to take a peak inside and we will DEFINITELY be returning. The whole experience was just great. 10/10 recommend staying here! Thank you for making our wedding night so memorable!”

“While the stay is exactly what you want, there are definitely some improvements that could be made to the breakfast and the soundproofing. The beds were beyond comfortable and the room was huge. Staff kept the place immaculately clean. Anything I needed was accommodated right away. However, I wish I could have had some ear plugs to deafen the sound of children running down halls and opening the elevator doors at midnight. I'd also love more options like their cinnamon rolls and less like their turkey bacon.Overall, great for the price and would stay again.”

“The room was very clean, although it smelled like someone just cooked a pizza in the room. The guy was kind of hard to understand when checking in. When coming back from dinner a different guy was in the front and was given another guest a hard time about being cute and not getting him good also. If you are going to be in Brick Town, then this hotel is great. Good price and just outside of Brick Town.”

“Our stay at The Classen exceeded our expectations. The location is on a very busy road in a rather industrial area (though other residential units are adjacent). We arrived just before check-in time but only waited a few minutes for a staff person to arrive and check us in. We felt very safe and had no issues with our truck/trailer parked in the lot. The doors to each room have keypad locks and hotel deadbolts and swinging door stops. Though the rooms face the road, traffic noise was minimal with door closed. The rooms are small (2 people max) but clean and well-appointed. There is a basket of snacks and a fridge with drinks (reasonably priced). We used Uber to get to Bricktown (less than $10).”

“My husband and I stayed 19 days related to his medical surgery recovery. The staff were very friendly and helpful ensuring we had the accessible room we needed. Room was a great size and very enjoyable. We also really enjoyed the daily breakfasts. Good selection of items. And we took advantage of the socials in the afternoons. Location is great for the Bricktown area and Bass Pro Shop plus some great restaurants. Highly recommend!”

“Stayed here for a 3 day weekend with my wife. The apartment was extremely well maintained and set up. The entry area is very pretty and even has a small coffee bar. Very nice laundry room on ground level with on site gated parking. My wife and I will try to stay here again in the future.”

“This hotel was probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The suite was nice and spacious. We had plenty of towels and the bed was so soft. That had to have been the best sleep ever. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, especially the front desk worker whose name begins with a K. She showed me how to set the tv to use the inputs. I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.”

“I use this hotel 3 to 4 nights a month and am never disappointed ! I understand that it can get noisy but it’s what I expected being in the middle of downtown Okc on the weekend! Breakfast is amazing as well as the staff. Fresh hot coffee and a fluffy omelette never fails to make my day!!Rooms: Clean nice rooms , odd number rooms are a little loud but that’s expected due to the close proximity of brick town and the arenaNearby activities: Brick town and basketball arena are surrounding the hotel, it’s a short walk to fun and foodWalkability: Just a block from the train station, got off the train and in my room within 10 minutesFood & drinks: Friendly staff great service. They always give 100% and start my morning off right. Fresh coffee from Mel and a fluffy omelette from Karen or Gwen and I have never been disappointed!!!!!”

“The staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. You could tell that there was somewhere and tear on the furniture and walls, but nothing major. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds weren’t very comfortable but I think it’s a great bargain for what you pay.”

“Great place to stay. Clean. Dog friendly. No problems at all. Staff friendly. The only thing I didn’t like it felt like the water didn’t get very hot, and there wasn’t a bath tub, just a shower.”

“What a great experience. Had a fantastic guest service agent check us in yesterday and did all he could to accommodate us with a fully booked hotel. We had a reservation for 1 room, and needed another but he found a work around. Hotel is lovely, clean and has everything you need for a stay away from home.Rooms: Rooms were clean and spacious.”

“My family stayed at the Candlewood for a 2wks to prepare for my father's funeral. Dawn and the manager Jamie were so accommodating to us in that time. We had multiple rooms and even when one had an AC not working they gladly moved us to another room. The beds, bathroom and rooms were clean. I truly appreciate the kindness you showed to us, including they help Jamie provided when I told her my pregnant daughter had went back home and called me that she had dilated so I needed to hurry home.Rooms: Rooms were clean”

“I didn't have the chance to enjoy the amenities and/or interact much with the people, but my brief experience as a business guest was more than acceptable and efficient.”

“I stayed here twice because the stay was that enjoyable. The hotel is clean and nice looking. The staff are friendly and helpful. No long wait at check-in. The rooms are nice and big. Clean, and comfortable. I drive an 18 wheeler so truck parking is a must. They have curbside truck parking. I would recommend this place to all family and friends looking for a hotel in that area. They offer breakfast in the mornings also. I seen restaurants within walking distance but ordered food”
