This store is so cool. It has so many neat things. The owner Kayla is a wonderful person. Follow her acct on Facebook. Also the “ribbon lady”.. found her ribbon at her “clutter free” home that she claimed she lost at the store.. just fyi. Kayla is a trustworthy person and does a fantastic job. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!

This is my absolute favorite antique store! It's such a cute little house filled to the brim with so many wonderful antiques and collectibles. She even has a whole room full of beautiful fabric. I always leave with so many great finds, I only wish I lived closer so I can come shop more often. The store owner Kayla is an amazing and kind women who cares deeply for her customers and community. She even held onto a couple items for me for 2 years until I could make the 3 hour trip to come pick them up. She also allows local farmers and vendors to come set up in her parking lot on the weekends. She posts items for sale on her Facebook page and does raffles and giveaways. She even won a people's choice award for best antique store in Cherokee County! Everyone loves her, except this one lady who left a 1 star review because she herself lost an item she had bought and Kayla showed her surveillance video proving that she did in fact leave the store with the item. This lady then started blasting her on the Lawley house Facebook page and leaving bad reviews everywhere even after admitting she found the item. Please don't listen to that miserable person's tantrum. I know how one bad review can really hurt a small business owner and Kayla doesn't deserve that. I definitely recommend this store to anyone! I'd give her a million stars if I could!

Went yesterday because I heard she carries a lot of fabric and ribbon good for ribbon skirts. Yes she carries a lot, but if you have any issues, good luck. I purchased several pieces of fabric and 3 different ribbons. She loosly tied the sack and one of the ribbons fell out before we even left the shop (my car and office are completely free of clutter so it never made it out of the store). I sent her a message and her immidiate response is to give a video showin her putting it in the bag then loosly tieing it. Asked her for a full video then since she wanted to handle it that way and she instead sends one that is at least several moments after the first one ended so not even a full one. Using a screenshot of the ending of one video and the begining of the next video even shows that the bag has been messed with.
I already had a bad vibe when she (though admitted she doesn't sew herself) tells people not to buy things from fabric stores because they aren't good quality because the ladies who buy from her TELL her that her's is better then the fabric stores. Sounded more like a sales tactic then anything. Then the way she immediately reacted to me not getting home with everything. Crap happens and I understand that, but when your first time customer tells you that they are missing an item, you don't come back with a video showing it was put in the sack and act like "there we go, problem solved" because I wouldn't be contacting you if it was that simple. You lost a repeat customer, sucks for you considering my first time in I purchased over $100 worth. Subsquencial visits would have been more.
Edit to add: The dishonesty continues. Supposedly she is trying to send me the whole video, but the error message she sent me says that SHE doesn't have her outgoing mail set up so SHE needs to edit her settings but she says that is on gmail and isn't going to fix her settings.
Final Edit: Ribbon finally found but I stand by my 1 star review. This ladies customer service is horrible and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Claims I am the only one that has ever had an issue, but for a little bity hole in the woods town, shes has a camera on the counter? Some people really don't understand how their actions speak louder then their words.

Kayla is my dear friend, she has a big heart , she is loyal, honest, she walks and lives by her word. I hate to see her hurt by one bad review. If she was in the wrong she would step up and fix it. I feel sorry for the customer who left that bad review. You ate missing out on so much, the Lawley house is more than a antique store or fabric shop . It's about fellowship, friends, it's a gathering place that's good for your soul. We love you Kayla and I give you a 1000 stars. Forget that bad review, you have so many good ones.

I really enjoy going into this shop. Kayla has so many different things in the shop. I buy everything from fabric to local homemade bread. If you like to browse, you should stop by. She carries handmade goods from several locals.
