When we moved to Comanche, OK, I visited churches in the area looking for a church home. I wanted something small like I'd grown up in. I finally visited Comanche 1st Baptist. Literally everyone in the church greeted us when we arrived. Everyone there made us feel welcome, comfortable, and wanted! I found my home! That was almost a year ago and we love it. Did you know that divorced parents can attend the same church?Did you know by doing so it can foster healthy co-parenting?Did you know that healthy co-parenting has been proven to produce well rounded adults out of the children of divorce?Did you also know that statistics prove healthy co-parenting is one of the ONLY ways that children can come out the other side of divorce as healthy rounded adults who understand and go on to have healthy adult relationships?I have attended churches that had both divorced parents attending so that they were both active in the spiritual growth of their children.If a preacher willingly attempts to prevent a parent from attending church with their children they need to do some soul searching. Maybe they are in the wrong line of work.#sorrynotsorry
