This pharmacy is a hidden gem. They have always exceeded my expectations and helped me and my family so much! I loathe chain pharmacies for filling prescriptions. This pharmacy is quick, accurate and wonderful!

Just after I moved to Collinsville, I was in need of a new pharmacy so I tried Collinsville Family Pharmacy... I am pleasantly surprised and very happy with the service! In the times I have had to go in for something, the staff have been very helpful and pleasant! The online ordering of meds by PocketRx is very convenient and the drive-through is awesome... Very recommended!!

Usually Collinsville Pharmacy has been filling my prescriptions with no problems and are pleasant at the drive by window. But on a weekend I went to pick up a refill for KCl 10 meq capsules and upon returning home I opened the sack and it contained the KDur tabs instead. So I got back in the car and returned the meds, stating that was NOT what my doctor ordered. A heavyset woman (who I’d never dealt with) came to the window and with a very hateful face said “Well, it’s the same drug.” Wow!! I could not believe it, because I am a retired RN and know they are not the same and that prescriptions cannot be changed without a doctors order. And I knew there was no way my doctor had changed it. The tablet is large, thick, hard to swallow and contains fillers that the time release capsules do not. (Even my 18 year old granddaughter who was working as a pharmacy tech in Owasso knew that interchanging them was wrong. ) I was shocked at the indifference and lack of medical knowledge and professionalism shown. So I’m suggesting that you open the sack and check your RX. before driving away like I do now. A lady who is really sweet and that I was used to waiting on me came to the window and apologized when she saw I was upset, and I did appreciate that gesture, but unfortunately my trust had been shaken.

Called the pharmacy to see if I can transfer my medication there and the pharmacist acted like he didn’t know or understood me. I gave him the store number of the Walmart my Prescriptions were originally at but the pharmacist cut me off and was like “ I don’t know what does numbers mean and I close in 30 minutes “ well thank you for your response and showing me and my family where not to go. At the end of the day if we’re calling to ask for some guidance and help at least sound like you care.

This is the very first review I have written about any place!I kept having difficulties with CVS and was told to check this pharmacy out. WOW just WOW!Thier prices are amazing and they are so so so kind! I never have to wait on a prescription for more then one day after they order it. They are just fabulous!

Definitely a hometown staple! The staff is excellent. The hard working employees are understanding and compassionate. Retail prices are very reasonable and competitive ensuring any local utilizing the Family Pharmacy is sure to keep the town moving forward towards economic and future goals. Any prospective new customer will be glad to know Collinsville Family Pharmacy is centrally located downtown with a drive through and handicapped accessible parking. It’s so nice to call in your prescription and speak to a staff member personally to my pleasant surprise. This gave me even more confidence in trusting another local small business owner. Thank you Collinsville Family Pharmacy for the personal communication and less automated frustration. You are doing great earning my repeat business and best form of advertisement just by simply decreasing common errors or confusion by verbal communication! The staff does a great job with keeping essentially patients confidentiality in mind. That is greatly appreciated. 5 stars!
