I wanted to take my son to the Easter egg hunt. But I arrived at 12 minutes late. Every one was already leaving and I thought it was suppose to be a hour event. I drove 30 minutes to come. Just to drive through the parking lot to go home.I seen baskets completely full of eggs and people having no consideration for other people who were there trying to have fun with their kids.I thought the event was for kids? All I seen was parents. But. Thanks anyways.

What can I say? A classic museum about a classic American! We thoroughly enjoyed learning about Will Rogers - he was before our time, but have heard about him all of our lives from our elders. The museum covered his life very well. I especially enjoyed the movies about Will Rogers' life (roping & a biography) which were suggested by the docent, Tom! The short films were helpful to see more than just photos. I am sure I will never confuse Will Rogers with other stars of his era again. There's also a children's area that looks like it would be fun!We appreciated Tom's attention and his related stories and sharing about the present family. Great museum! I am sure I will never confuse him with other stars of his era again.

Loved it! Wonderful place to explore and learn about Will Rogers the political commentator, the movie star, world traveler and private citizen. We especially appreciated the movie theater since these old films are hard to obtain. We were also pleased to learn more details about his tragic death with pilot Wiley Post. Great find! Highly recommend for a day out with kids or grandkids or out of town visitors.

The museum was great. It had a simple layout, and wasnt too modern which i like because it fits the theme of the time Will Rogers lived. Its a great place to go if you have kids, or you want to learn a bit about Will Rogers. There is a basement with play area for kids, a theater with 6 movies about Will Rogers (the movies are free & you get to choose the movie to play), and there is an outdoor area with Will Rogers grave stone with his family. Also we went in mid December and it wasnt packed at all.

I love this museum!! It's inexpensive, open on weekends, it's in a beautiful building, and there's even a library (make prior arrangements to see it) with books galore! There are movies playing like "The Ropin' Fool" and statues to see as well as paintings and even a display of saddles as you enter. There is a gift shop with reasonably priced items. This is a must-see place in Oklahoma!

July 26, took my visiting sister and brother-in-law here for their first time. They were impressed with the exhibits, old movies and commentary about Will Rogers. Staff at the entry desk and gift shop were very friendly and helpful. Having been to Will Roger’s Dog Iron Ranch airstrip several times for annual fly-in’s, it was nice to revisit his legacy at the museum.

The Will Rogers Memorial Museum is a stop on the official Oklahoma Route 66 passport. A wonderful and rich museum that shows off the best of Oklahoma specific Americana!

Lots of history, very decent presentation! We were impressed, and the 2 ladies at entrance were very knowledgeable about Will Rogers. They had some movies, lots to read with pictures, a very nice garden where he is buried with his wife. I think regular tickets were $7.00, seniors were $5.00, military with ID $3.00, children were varied prices. Would recommend a visit.

I thought he was just an actor, it was nice to learn so much more about him. There's a lot of great information as well as fun displays. The kids part of the museum is very well displayed for a lot of hands on fun. There's nice theaters to sit and watch some of his movies. The gift shop has a very sweet young lady working and the guy volunteer had lots of great information for us. Glad we took the time to visit.

Had no idea this was here when I came to visit a family member and stopped by on a whim. I am so glad I did as I am very familiar with who Will Rogers is. This museum was really cool and really told the story of the man that was will rogers. It was worth the stop!!

This is very entertaining and informative museum, so well done and far more extensive than it first appears! It tells a story, not only of an extraordinary man, but also of the Hollywood movie era before and leading into talkies as well as the early 1900s western culture. Plus, this is all done through exhibits, dioramas and films. Look for the Remington bronze sculptures! Also, there's a beautiful outside patio overlooking Roger's grave. It's a stunning view!

Fabulous experience. A must see for anyone in the area! Plan to spend a minimum 2 hours here..3 or 4 if you want to watch his movies. I also recommend taking a sweater or jacket regardless if it is summer. They keep it quite cold inside to help preserve the artifacts. Will Rogers was a legend. We could use a man like him today. Many of his quotes appear throughout the museum. My favorite, "America is fundamentally liberal". FUNDAMENTALLY LIBERAL! Will Rogers for President!!
