Read this summary of my experience and see for yourself if my experience is something you want to endure.
-Bring my car in for thermostat and clunking noise in front drivers side suspension.
-Get a call that the noise is coming from CV axle and lower control arms.
-Spindle is destroyed in process ends up costing me a new spindle and wheel bearing assembly.
-Pick up car after $1760 in repairs.
Not a bad experience so far but here’s where things start declining tremendously.
-Quickly notice car does not drive straight and that I am missing lower splash cover on my car.
-Clunking noise in front drivers suspension was NOT fixed. Leading me to wonder what actually needed to be replaced in $1000 of a spindle, wheel bearing, and lower control arms.
-I call and tell them. But I am refused a realignment because they don’t do those and I am told that my car came in with a missing splash cover. I am no fool when it comes to cars and I know for a fact I looked at that piece the day before I brought it in.
-Leave a 1 star review explaining this.
-Car begins squeaking terribly and comes from the same side they did work on.
-I take my car back and they said it just needs to be lubed up. I find this strange since they literally just rebuilt this side.
-Get call saying I will get reimbursed for realignment AND splash guard on the condition I remove one star review.
-Get realignment. But goes back to pulling badly soon after.
-Check under my car to see what’s wrong and find that the bolt holding the lower control arm onto the subframe of my car is backed out nearly 90% of the way. If you don’t know much about cars, if this bolt backed all the way out it would’ve cause the front suspension to fall apart and could’ve caused a major wreck/injury.
-Take it into the shop again and they tell me it was the alignment shops fault. This was 100% NOT the alignment shops fault. The bolt does not adjust anything related to the suspension. It just holds the lower control arm to the subframe of the car. An alignment shop does not touch this.
-I did get reimbursed for my alignment but not the splash guard. Which is why I feel like I’m am willing to put up another one star review; the deal was not fulfilled .
Overall, I feel like I’ve been scammed or lied to nearly step of the way in this process. I do appreciate the reimbursement but honestly I’ll be near $1900 deep into this after just wanting a thermostat replacement and a clunking noise fixed (which was not even fixed, I still have this issue).

Kevin really does love what he does, and cares how you feel about your vehicle when you leave. You could do a cartwheel in Claremore and hit an auto shop, but none of the other ones will follow up and make sure you are happy with your maintenance. These guys are gold.

I was in town looking for someone to do a pre purchase inspection on a few cars I was looking into purchasing and I called and spoke to Kevin. He was able to get my in and inspected both vehicles in a shorter time frame than was quoted and also gave me a discount for having two inspections done. He was super friendly and all of his staff were nice and honest. Highly recommend! Definitely will be coming back. Even the price quotes I received on work were affordable. Looking forward to doing business with Kevin in the future!

Excellent experience!! Colton was very professional and personable. They were able to fix my Jeep (even after another mechanic made the problem!) and was super fast!! Dropped it off on Friday and was running perfect by Wednesday!! They are now "my" mechanics!!

After taking my car to a local mechanic multiple times and getting a different diagnosis each time and paying again for work they had done just days before, as valve cover leak, a friend told me to take it to Kevin's auto in Claremore. I did that and they replaced the parts I had already paid the other mechanic to do, plus diagnosed the real problem. The thing that really sold me is the fact that you ALWAYS talk to Kevin, the owner. He is on top of his business! No go-betweens or auto person. Plus he gave me a 2 year guarantee on any part he installed including labor! So, thanks Kevin, your my go to mechanic!
