I called to get my bangs trimmed and they fit me right in! The service was awesome, the selection of salon products is top tier (Kevin Murphy, Aveda, Living Proof) which is great not having to go to Tulsa. Looks like I have a new local salon to go to.

So..I had a appointment time, and sure enough, I was waiting for 30 minutes before the stylist even came to say Hi. Now to explain my decision, my mother was also with me getting a wash and style only, which influenced our time. Well, I did not get my haircut. My mother was almost done when the stylist came to get me. The excuse was she was held up working on a customer. I get it, we all have had good and bad days, running late. I honestly feel that there should be something in place, even a text, to let the current customer just KNOW it's going to be late and it's their choice if they wish to wait. How about the receptionist coming over, informing the customer, and maybe offer a drink. I think good customer service is a big key to a successful business. Plus, just having hairstylists smile and say Hi to customers would go along way. Sorry, but for me, not a place I will return to.

Hannah is my regular hairdresser. For my wedding, she did my hair and make up and it turned out absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so so much.

I happen to love living in Claremore as well as supporting local businesses so it pains me to leave a bad review. However, my time is valuable and having it wasted is disrespectful.
I called JLS for a haircut
appointment and was told 1:45 today 02/10/24. I'm courteous of other people's time as I've been a business owner and know how important it can be so I arrive 5 minutes early. A female who didn't seem very happy to be there tells me that it will be a moment so I sit down and wait. Long story short I leave at 1:57 as a full 15 minute wait started creeping into into family time and still, no haircut or contact with any salon employee. Sadly I'm uncertain if anyone even realized that I left but regardless I won't be wasting my time again and wanted to pass this on for others as JLS didn't even bother with a phone call. Not the business model I would suggest but I guess it's working for them so sadly I'm off to give my money to Owasso.

Everyone was so sweet and welcoming, and Brooklyn did beyond fantastic with my cut and color. She gave me exactly what I was wanting with no issues at all, I'll definitely be going back! thank you Brooklyn!

I had Brooklyn cut my hair. I had asked for a shag haircut and she delivered. I have never left so happy with my hair from a salon before! Highly recommend!

Brooklyn did a wonderful job cutting my hair and asked multiple times before cutting to make sure I got what I wanted.

Brooklyn has been doing my color/cuts every 6 weeks for the last year. She’s done a GREAT job with both! Her scalp massages while being shampooed are AMAZING! She’s always very attentive and has great suggestions for hair care products. I’m recommending her to all my friends and family.

I never write reviews and quite honestly I wasn’t going to write a review until I spoke to the owner Jamie. I originally got my hair cut and colored November 11th which turned out great I reached out to Brooklyn to get my hair thinned out more since the ends were still pretty thick. We reschedule for November 21st at 6pm everything was going good with the thin out she asked for assistance from another hairdresser who came over and asked if she could take a small amount to get it thinned out I said that was fine not understanding why they needed to make it a tad shorter but hey I’m not a hairdresser. I then left, went home and no one said anything about the cut once I got home and felt the back of my hair, I was thinking it felt weird I had my husband take a picture and low and behold the back is MUCH shorter in so many different places and uneven. I’ve been crying nonstop. So I messaged Brooklyn who then admitted she over thinned a section at the bottom. Not sure why they wouldn’t say anything while I was sitting in that chair. So I asked her to please put me in contact with the manager, well the manager who is in fact the owner Jamie didn’t call me but just had Brooklyn to tell me $23 would be sitting up front in a envelope and that Jamie would look at once it grows out. Could have the decency to call me. So told Brooklyn I still wanted her to call me but she was too busy with appointments that day to call me so I told her after thanksgiving would be just fine. So I decided to message Jamie on Instagram on Friday and to be quite honest to get everything out because I was still very frustrated with what happened. She responded to me today and boy did I not expect the conversation to turn out so heated. Yes I asked for a full refund because I need to go somewhere else to be able to fix this once it grows out and $23 isn’t going to get this fixed anywhere professionally and after the conversation i had with the owner i definitely didn’t want to go back. I had no clue asking for a full refund would have Jamie saying i was bully Brooklyn and the conversation would turned out to be so unprofessional. A simple no and explanation would’ve been fine. Yes I loved the color Brooklyn did. She did amazing on the color and the original cut but not once did I bully Brooklyn or say anything mean to her I believe I was being very professional with telling her how I felt. I do believe Brooklyn will turn out to be an amazing hairdresser with more education. But as far as the owner, i’m sadly disappointed with how that conversation went, and the lack of professionalism.

Shout out to Hannah! Transitioning from blonde highlights to natural with gray is hard! This amazing gal nailed it!
