This place was really cool!! They ask for a donation, they’re not pushy about it at all. One thing to remember is it a state owned building, taking a firearm in here is against the law. But you do what you want. Anyways they have more firearms from the eras than you can possibly imagine. You’ll need a good 4 hours to see everything and that is a quick browsing. And the employees here are extremely polite and knowledgeable.

Do you like guns? Do you like weapons? Do you like Town histories? Then this museum is just the place! Lots of weapons and history plus a small area dedicated to the town of Claremore. If you are on a Route 66 road trip, this is a place to stop by!

I toke my gkids to this museum they had a blast. But make sure you take cash cause if you don't you have to put extra money for a donation. They wouldn't let us buy something to use towards the extra funds. Then the gkids wanted to get something from the gift shop and you have to spend no less than 15.00.So just take cash with you when you go.

My husband and I went with his 11 yr old son. Was an awesome place to see. There were many guns from different times and different places. They did have some other exhibits that were interesting as well. We spent about 3 hrs there. The place is very well taken care of. His son loved it. There is no charge. They ask to give a donation.

I heard alot of good reviews about this museum from the locals and boy were they right! This is a must visit place for anyone in the area! If your traveling through on Route 66 you won't be disappointed! It's donation based so no set fees. I spent almost 2 hours and still didn't see everything, plan on going back. So much to see. They also have a gift shop.

This place is sweet as F! I spent 3 hours here and I had to rush because they were closing at 5pm. I've seen guns that I've only read about. Lots and lots of guns! "El guapo, here come the guns!"... which movie?

Important info: this is NOT free as described in many places online. The sign says "customary donation- single $5, family $10" I didn't see a card machine and didn't think I had any cash. My husband had already stepped inside a few feet further so I was going to go talk to him and the older lady behind the desk stood and said "it is a customary donation of $5 each to walk around". We were able to find enough cash, but I was SUPER annoyed with the demand of donation. So before you come, know that they do charge admission and you need cash. In my opinion, the demand of donation made me wonder if they are just skirting having to pay taxes on the admission by calling it a donation, which seems a little shady.HOWEVER, it is a cool museum. We didn't leave enough time to see everything before we had to go.Price for entry: $5.00
