Tracy took good care of us. She owns the place and takes care of the rooms and customers. The place was nice and clean. It's a drive up motel, but it felt safe and was quiet. Best price I've paid for a room in a while. I only gave it 4 stars because it is older, and there were limited jacks to plug our devices into.
Rooms: Neat and clean and cute. Nothing fancy. Mine had 2 full beds, full bath, microwave, fridge, TV, desk, a chair, night stand, iron and board, coffee maker.
Nearby activities: Under Route 66 walkway. Mazzioes pizza. 2 gas/convenient stores. Dollar general. Downtown Chelsea.
Food and drinks: Mazzios pizza. 2 gas station delies.
Noteworthy details: No same day reservations.

My husband and I always stay here when we visit our son and his family. The owners are very sweet and check in is a breeze. The rooms are always clean and the price is awesome!
We have recommended the chelsea motor inn to other family members over the years and they have all enjoyed it too.

left a message on the voicemail. they said they'd call back but didn't. drove 30 minutes to see a no vacancy sign on the office door. pretty poor customer service. stay clear of this trap.

Basic, but adequate. Some of the rooms have Route 66 murals on the walls. This is a throw back to motels of times past. Quaint.

Stayed here last year with several friends and foreign exchange students. I highly recommend it! We were able to walk to dinner and sightsee nearby sights! I felt very safe and the owners live right nextdoor. Fantastic decor and up to date furnishings. I plan to stay there again!
