This team went above and beyond my expectations with a very sick dog. They were always open and honest about his health and survival chances. Even though he passed, I have a huge amount of appreciation for the vet staff. Highly highly recommend

Although it's a bit of a drive for me, I gladly make the trip because this is the best animal hospital I've ever visited. The staff is kind and highly knowledgeable. All three of my dogs have had their teeth cleaned here, and my little Chihuahua has undergone two surgeries. I couldn't be more pleased with the care they've received. I can't praise this place enough.

Christian owned, honest and reasonable prices. 9 of the best vets you will find in Oklahoma. These folks really care about your precious pets. They have their own blood testing machines, ultrasound and other scanning machines to do most testing onsite while you wait as opposed to having to send stuff out to third party labs. Other vets send their difficult cases and surgeries here because of the expertise available. Best vet in the state.

Very professional always helpful and polite staff. I have had 3 dogs have orthopedic surgery with Dr. Steve and throughout their rehab, I have had our dog chiropractor and water therapy place impressed with how well our dogs are healing. They seem to recover faster and more thoroughly than other dogs they see come in. I also like how Dr. Steve is very straight and to the point about everything. He is confident with his answers and honest. He also doesn't seem to want to mess with anything unless it really needs it. So you know if he tells you something is needed, then it is needed. I highly recommend especially for orthopedic surgery, but all the staff is so polite that if I lived closer, they would just be my normal vets office.

At first my husband and I loved this place, but then we started experiencing what I had been warned about by countless friends and colleagues.First, my Boston terrier was diagnosed with a lump in his lungs. The vet said “we need to do an ultrasound in order to identify if it’s cancer or not.” Of course we make the additional appointment and $400 bucks or so after that the vet gave us no answers and said “well we actually need to do a biopsy to know that information and that’s an additional appointment.” So why did we just do the expensive ultrasound for literally no reason at all.Second, our cat was due for her monthly heartworm and tick medicine but we were out of her medicine at home and had been out of town for a multiple weeks so we were just shy of a week behind when we normally give it to her. Our cat was also due for her annual appointment in January. So we call them immediately upon our return home and schedule her January appointment for her annual shots etc. and then my husband goes into the clinic to pick up her heartworm meds, as we usually do every single month, and the worker denies him her medicine that she’s been on for over a year regularly every month from their clinic. She claims “she cannot give us the heartworm meds until she has her appointment that we scheduled.” Mind you, they were of course so busy (as usual) so they couldn’t get us in for her January appointment for another week. So this puts our cat at now almost two weeks behind her normal day of when she gets her heartworm medicine. The worker claims it is state law that they can’t give her the meds if she hasn’t had her annual appointment yet. I’m sorry what? I still order my other animals medicine from Woodland West online store (our old vet from a couple years ago) and woodland west has not seen our other animals for probably 3 years, yet you don’t see them denying our monthly medicine. This clinic does not care about the safety or wellbeing of your animals. Period.

I have never been to this vet before, but I LOVED the atmosphere. When people walked in with their pets, the staff seemed to know them and often welcomed them by name before they checked in. There was not a long wait time. Staff came out and got you and your animal to escort you to a room and you were able to talk to the assistant right away. I liked that we went into an individual room and closed the door. It helped my dog be much calmer. His regular vet has glass doors and he gets hyped up watching the other animals, etc. I was able to get into this vet when I had an urgent matter and I so appreciated their being able to accommodate me and my dog. I was given the option of checking out at the desk when leaving or the assistant taking my payment. I liked that I was able to pay and then immediately leave. I like that you can e-mail the vet directly, which is how I made my first contact regarding a second opinion for surgery. I contacted the vet because he came highly recommended as an orthopedist by people actively involved in showing and training dogs. I appreciated the prompt response. I also liked that they have on-call vets on the weekend so you can call someone familiar with your pet and get guidance. I was so impressed that the staff were so personable. I noticed the staff had adjustable desks. They could sit or stand to do their work. When I noticed that I thought that this was a clinic that also cared about and invested in its employees. I think the quality care of pets and employees is a winning combination. The only downside was some of the pet owners. A woman came in and thought her dog should go greet everybody and every dog. One man came in with his dog off-leash. Naturally, you can't fault the clinic for pet owners who lack common sense, but it was an issue for me because my dog had been attacked by a pit bull, and was anxious about being approached by a large dog and I was anxious because the attack involved an unleashed dog. With inconsiderate pet owners set aside, I would recommend this vet clinic. *****UPDATE: I just submitted this review 8 hours ago. I can't believe it! The vet (who happens to be the owner) JUST called me to check on my dog that was injured. He did this after having only seen my dog one time for a second surgical opinion!!!!! I had seriously been considering changing to Catoosa Small Animal Hospital for all the reasons listed in my initial review. I live in Jenks so it will be a bit of travel time for me, but I plan on giving them as much business as I can now!!!!! Customer service is something that seems to be lacking in so many areas of life and to find this level of customer service is so very refreshing! Catoosa Small Animal Hospital rocks!!!!!

It really says something when a dog who has been terrified of other vets for seven years and walks into a new place happy as a lark. My dog had knee surgery and loves going to this vet. Not only that but they have some of the best prices in the area. Dr. Steve is amazing and it is obvious that he loves his job and cares for the animals he treats.

We have used this vet for both our dogs who broke their legs, they were all very nice and caring. Today we had to put down one of those dogs and they gave us so much time to say good bye, and were very caring. I love that they treat your pets as though they were part of the family because they are. They are so amazing.

We had a Boxer that needed help. We were referred to a particular veterinarian, Dr. Shelbi. Some other doctor did the ultrasound, and we got the bad news from Dr. Shelbi. She was so awesome. She explained everything very well and was so sympathetic. She was just wonderful. She helped make the hard decision to euthanize our baby boy more bearable. The entire staff was amazing. Everyone I came into contact with was absolutely wonderful. Despite the bad situation we found ourselves in, we would like to use them as our primary veterinarian.

This is a vet I have frequent for 15 years, always loved them; However, now they are overcharging people. Can’t even give them one star due to double charging me for just looking at my dogs eye during a cytopoint shot visit. He was there for a regular shot and eye was red. Charged me double an office visit instead of a regular office visit without me even knowing they were going to charge me anyway, getting an allergy shot and medication for my dogs red eyewas $265.00 I never would have thought this Vet could have become that greedy to overcharge a customer for something as simple as just looking. Unfortunately, I will have to start looking for another vet even though our family has spent the last 20 years going to see this Catoosa Animal Hospital.

I brought my boyfriend’s dog here and we had Dr.Marlow. He was very attentive and caring. He had the best bedside manner that anyone could ask for in a vet. I will request him for all future visits and highly recommend him for anyone looking for an Amazing vet!

Highly recommend! Got an appt the same week I called and they took great care of my dog. Great prices and they weren’t trying to push anything additional. We will for sure be going back with all our animals! Vet even called to check up on her the following week! Great staff and facility!
