Save your money and avoid this scam of a restaurant. Zero love in the food here - nothing tasted fresh and they should be ashamed at what they call pastrami. It definitely was not made in house and tasted frozen. No possible way that was wagyu beef like the menu says. Boars Head from Sysco at best. Overcrowded and the service was terrible (Manager didn't even know what the house vodka was!). Typical churn and burn mentality of all these theater district restaurants.

We had booked a table but still waited over 45minutes to be seated and were clearly in the way of the(visibly irritated) servers. We ended up sitting outside on a very wobbly table Our order was wrong, wrong items, wrong eggs, wrong cooking preference, and was pretty cold The staff were nice though!

We had a fantastic brunch here. I had the lobster roll which had lots of big chunks of lobster and is was excellent. My husband had a chicken sandwich which was delicious too! The service was great!

We had a 2:00 show and a 1:00 reservation. I was a bit nervous, but they are very fast. Food was good - not amazing - its a diner type place after all. It definitely served its purpose.

Went for brunch, my wife had the Omlette, I had the Eggs Benedict. If you go, make sure you make a reservation. The best thing was how quickly we were seated. My wife enjoyed her omlette but my eggs Benedict were super disapointing. The English muffin was hard, the eggs were overdone, and there was one sliver of ham which couldn't even cover an English muffin round per half. I say ham because to call it “Canadian Bacon” is an affront to both Canadians and Bacon. The photo on the menu is so far off from what you receive on the plate would make a top tier “Expectation vs. Reality” meme. All suffice to say, Carnegie Diner will be a skip from here on out...

Food was very average (we had the pastrami sandwiches). Neat place, though, close to theater district. Not a replacement for the former famous Carnegie Deli, which we were hoping for. Service was typical NYC: fast, clipped, but overall friendly.

I had an unplanned visit to NYC and we decided to grab lunch at Carnegie. The service was great and so was the food. I had limited time and our waitress made sure we got our meals quickly. I will go back since they opened a location in Va where I live.

went there for a business brunch and the wait staff kept rushing us out even though we stayed for just 90mins; menu also very confusing, random, and busy. had the pastrami which was good. net net, I would not go back.

Had a late meal after arriving in NYC by air and it was one of the spots open after 11pm near Times Square. Great selection in the menu and the staff were very attentive, even at that late hour. Loved the vibe and we enjoyed the food!

Dined with a friend after a show. Outdoor seating was lovely and service was satisfactory. Friend enjoyed a delicious omelette and raved about the hash browns. My lemon chicken was overcooked and a bit dry, but the Greek fries sprinkled with feta were amazing. Extensive menu, and we'd both be happy to dine again.

Thought this was going to be nostalgic and it was not worth it. Subpar food and experience. Gave us the incorrect order and after a very long delay had the nerve to charge us anyway. I would've expected better customer service, especially for the price. Not worth it. Skip.

We were pleasantly greeted and taken to our table right away. Lots of food options-whole page of plant based items and 2-course theater menu at a reasonable price. The service was good, and food came out in timely manner.

Food was just okay. My pastrami sandwich was a big difference as compared to the picture. Lot less meat and the bread was soggy so had to request new bread. Overall, would not come back.

Had a great lunch with my 12 year old daughter here. Menu had a lot of option and what we ordered was delicious (Sunchine burger & Egg-strami sandwich). Each came with a nice salad and side. Was surprised everything was so reasonably priced, was less expensive than diners in Queens. Our server was very friendly as well. Only negative is that it was extremely loud space for not even being totally full. Was hard to have a conversation.

The food was delicious! My friend is a very picky eater, but she absolutely loved the shrimp pasta she ordered. We all enjoyed our food and mocktails! The prices were affordable and reasonable. The place was clean and the ambiance was enjoyable. Perfect place to eat after watching a broadway show!
