The best thing we did in Broken Bow! A bit pricey but totally worth it and we would do it again in a heartbeat. You don’t get this kind of hands on experience anywhere.

Nice cute small place.... my kids loved petting animals and feeding them. They sell banana and gallon zippy plastic bags for 5 and 10$, respectively. You can buy them and feed the animals. It was fun overall.

My 20 month old son loved it so much. You can tell the people that work there care so much about the animals.

Petting and feeding the animals was so relaxing. My wife and I enjoyed it a ton and I wanted to go back and do it every day we were in Hochatown. The staff were super pleasant. I can’t wait to go back next year.

This place is cool!
Definitely an experience being around tame animals of all sorts. Heck they even have porcupines and all sorts of stuff.
You can buy food and attract all sorts of animals, probably a good idea to buy more than just one cup of feed.
It did smell kinda rancid when you first enter the house with reptiles and birds but that's kinda to be expected in an enclosed area.
Your missing out if you don't go.

First time in area and decided to visit this Rescue and Petting Zoo. I was skeptical at first. But it is a very well ran facility. Everything was exactly as described and was one of the best facilities I have seen. I love to visit facilities like this to have encounters with animals I normally wouldn't get to see or even touch. It was a awesome experience especially for my wife on her birthday. I am planning on visiting every time I am in area. I do recommend purchasing a bag of food, (hint) especially the grapes. Almost everyone wanted to eat the grapes. It was worth the time, most definitely.

Very friendly staff (I forget everyone's name), but they were very knowledgeable and cared deeply about what they do. There were a lot of animals ranging from cats, dogs, multiple species of birds, deer, goats, cattle, horses, foxes, raccoons, pigs, a kangaroo, a zebra, reptiles, tortoises, chickens, peacocks, a Llama/alpaca (it kinda looked mixed), opossums, ferrets, porcupines, a camel, guinea pigs, skunks (no scent glands), ducks, geese, a gator, prairie dogs, chinchillas, and more. Most of them were abandoned, but some of them were given to the rescue center because the owners couldn't take care of them anymore. I would highly recommend to anyone in town to go experience it. The woman who gave me the tour was the young lady there, she was very friendly and knew every animal's name and backstory.
