Unfortunately, this was a highly disappointing experience. I would suggest anyone using their services be extremely vigilant and do their own research about required documents.
I went to Billy for help with my previous taxes that another CPA had filed incorrectly, and I paid $240 for the service.
A month later, I received a letter from my state Department of Revenue stating that they had not received anything.
I had reached out, but there was no response from the Parakletos team. An additional 13 days went by with no response from anyone. Finally, Billy told me I had to call on my own to figure it out. Ok
When I called, the state Department of Revenue let me know they had not received anything, and then, on top of that, they let me know that the documentation he said he did was incorrect and would not suffice in my situation.
His exact response was, “We did the work, and they did get the letter..” Not acknowledging the fact that it was incorrect to begin with.
I contacted him requesting a refund because I was past the deadline, but he refused.
I also contacted Charlie, who owns the company, but I did not receive a response.
Overall, it was a horrible experience because my deadline passed, I was paying additional fees, and I was also paying a different CPA to do the correct work. Worst of all, a team that was supposed to help me did the incorrect work, refused to acknowledge it, and refused even a refund.
They may be nice and pleasant when you speak to them, but that won't help if their work is bad.
I will not use their services in the future and cannot recommend them to anyone in good conscience, as their lack of response and willingness to work with me were unprofessional and disrespectful.

Anyone needing to get their taxes done in BA or surrounding areas. You should reach to Parakletos, Inc in Broken Arrow. Not only was John fast, efficient, and detail oriented. I felt I was finally more than just a number (yes I know that's literally what taxes are) I felt like they were there to help on a personal level and maximize my return looking closely for anything missed in the previous years. I seemed like for the first time in a decade of using one of the big names I was finally getting the service I expected. Oh yeah and the pricing wasn't HALF bad either. We will be returning customers.Thank you!

The worst service ever. I was recommended to them this year so I called them a few times and left messages for them and they never called back or followed up. Last week I decided to stop by to talk to someone in person and when I got there there was no staff there. I heard someone talking in the back room so I run the bell and waited. And waited. No one came out, no one even called from the back to acknowledge there was someone there. For being all they claim to be, their actions and how they treat people needing their help is terrible. I will not be going back and will be sure people I know avoid that place

They have done my taxes for a few years until I recently moved. Larry has always been extremely helpful. Definitely make sure you get in early. They are always really friendly and email me documents I need when I misplace them (thanks!). :)

I have been using this tax service for years. At least 20 and this has been the worst tax year I have ever experienced. No customer service. No follow up and when you call to try and get answers, they are extremely rude. I’m finding a new tax service who would appreciate my business and won’t get attitudes just for asking questions.

THE best tax prep office! Everyone in the office is helpful and they work as a team to help you, the customer. I have referred multiple people to this business without hesitation. 10 out of 10 recommend! Use them for personal and business tax.

Wow. Where do I begin! I usually do not do reviews but I do read them. If I would have read this before having my taxes done at this establishment I wouldn’t have. Our experience has been just that. A hard life lesson to not just trust that your tax information will be entered correctly. We unfortunately learned this the hard way. We received a notice from the IRS months after saying we owed an additional amount due to information not being entered correctly actually at all. Completely missed a huge section that would account for why we were hit with another huge bill. If I would have looked back and compared line by line to what information I gave them I wouldn’t be in this boat I’m in now. All I can say is use extreme caution and double check the information line by line before you let them proceed with your taxes. Don’t be like me and trust that the information is entered correctly. I will NEVER ever return to this establishment and I really hope that this helps the next person thinking about using them.

The owner of this place of business was throwing big rocks over the chain link fence of my property at my rooster. He was attempting to harm him because he “was crowing”. He needs to move his Commercial business out of a residential community if he can’t handle animals. His employees need to quit watching my children play in their own back yard!!

We had taken a tax return to Charlie to that was prepared by another individual to see if it was accurate. To this day we have not heardanything on the issue. That was a year and a half ago. To this day no word. I have called repeatedly and went in to the office they will not even return a phone call. So no I would never use or recommend them to anyone

Charlie and his firm have been preparing our returns for 25 years or so, we have Never had a bad experience and felt their work/results to be well worth the cost!
