I am a disabled veteran and state tax exempt. My exemption has been repeatedly denied by the Bristow, Ok store. By Oklahoma law once the store was made aware of my exemption they are required to let me use it. Three times it has been denied to myself and husband with his own exemption card. They told me it’s Corporate policy. When I ask for a number to the corporate office to improve the process I’m given a 1800walmart number that does not get me to the corporate office. They have made this process a moving target by changing rules each time we try to use it. The clerk and manager react with disgust realizing it’s a veteran exemption rather than a business and treat this as a nuisance. I feel disrespected as a combat veteran that has served my country. “ A vendor who has actual knowledge that a consumer is entitled to an exemption under paragraph 34 of Section 1357 of this title and who willfully or intentionally refuses to honor the exemption shall be punished by an administrative fine of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per offense. Title 68, Section 1361.2.”

Was hesitant to use online/pick up in beginning & my last pickup this week reminded me "why"! Missing items, rotten bag of avocados, equal to 1/2 head of lettuce! I go to Walmart once month, after social security check posts. I tried to correct the problems thru pick up department, so will continue up the ladder until resolved! Have several choices of different Walmarts could use within same distance, but always used Bristow... After making an hour round trip back to resolve, probably will be changing locations! Not happy customer!!!

The people goes out of there way to help you. Nice clean store. However, they really need more cashiers.
