“We drove into town on a Sunday night with the car telling us the alternator was no longer working. Monday morning we called around Boise City and surrounding towns looking for someone who could fix an alternator on a 2006 BMW. That's not a car where shops have parts in stock for the most part.The guys at Carquest/Red&Sons took great care of us. They told us they didn't have the alternator to fix our car, but they checked our electrical system to confirm the alternator was the problem, then they charged our battery to ensure we had as much juice as possible for our run to Guymon to a mechanic who could do the work.They guys were great. First thing on a Monday morning, and they fit us in right away, were very up front with what they could and could not do, explained what was going on, and took great care to ensure the battery was fully charged before sending us out on the road.These guys were really good to us, and we really appreciate their help and service. I would definitely have my car fixed at Red's shop if I had a future need.Good people.”

“Mike and his lovely wife Helen are amazing. They potentially saved our lives. My wife and I were traveling from TX up to WY for my mother's birthday party and her minor heart procedure, when my 2019 Ram 1500's engine froze up. Come to find out the dealership that worked on it failed to tighten the oil drain plug. Unfortunately, the engine froze up 16miles outside of Boise City, OK at 11:40pm at temperatures below freezing with no heat and minimal power. The fortunate part was that we were in one of the only spots that had cell service. So I reached out to Mike for a tow and Helen was able to coordinate for the wrecker to come out and pick us up. The were a god sent!! Mike and his wrecker driver (i forgot his name, and I feel horrible) came out to get me even after 24hrs of nonstop wrecks through out the last couple of days. They were able to get my Ram loaded up and delivered to the Longhorn Inn for the night.In the morning we searched endlessly for a rental, Uber, Lift, pretty much anything to get us to the nearest car rental location. Helen offered up one of their U-Haul box trucks to get us to where we needed to go! It was our only choice if we wanted to make it to my mom's procedure on time.Wow!! We met some great people during a difficult and potentially devastating time. I can never thank them enough for all that they did to help us get back on the road and be there for my mother. My wife and I will go out of our way to say hello each time that we pass through Boise City!Thank you Mike and Helen, and God bless!!!”
