They saved my boys life. He couldn't breathe, I took him in and they got him on oxygen, ran tests, and found out the reason. Dr. Seth and his team were phenominal. Thanks to them, I still get a lot more time with him.

This place is more concerned with making money than caring for animals. Now that my dog is going to a fabulous vet, I can see how poorly my dog was treated at Rivertrail. He has very bad anxiety and was treated like a burden at Rivertrail during our last few visits. In addition to this, I received a voicemail weeks after my dogs appointment stating that they “forgot” to charge us $140. They gave no information about what this is for or why we owed it after already paying over $200 at the actual visit. We ended up moving out of state and I forgot about the supposed money that we owed. When we asked for our dogs vet records, we were sad about how many negative and inaccurate comments that were written about him in his records. There was also several things missing from the records which makes me worry that we paid for services that our dog never received. Nearly a year later, I’ve found out that Rivertrail sent me to collections for $240. Not only is that over the supposed debt we owed, they never followed up after the initial message even when we were in contact to get his records. This behavior is very sketchy and just unfortunate seeing as my dog was originally a rescue from Rivertrail. Look for a vet elsewhere.

We are new to Oklahoma and have been so impressed with the Bixby location of River Trails! We have boarded our dogs twice and from the staff scheduling the boarding, the welcome staff at the door, the staff taking care of them while boarding and now a vet visit (Dr. George) ….we have been so impressed! Kudos!!! Just want you all to know what you’re doing is awesome! Thanks for loving on our pets!♥️

Impressive and compassionate care! Dr. Hooley is the best veterinarian our 14 year old rescue dog Watson has ever seen. Watson has had numerous soft tissue injuries to her shoulder and previous doctors have just told us to keep her from activities that would stress the joint….which is like saying stop being a dog. Dr. Hooley gave us stretching exercises so Watson could be her happy self. He also treated her for her storm anxiety and took time to detail to us how to better care for her. He also took time to give us and our granddaughter a tour of their wonderful facility. We have found our new veterinary hospital and could not be more pleased.

I truly cannot speak highly enough of this facility or Dr. George. We met him for the first time when we had a medical emergency with one of our fur babies (my daughter’s) while in town for Christmas (2020). He was so compassionate and considerate of our feelings and my fur baby’s. We had to leave our sweet dog for testing and so they could monitor him after he ate onions (considered poisonous to canines). Before we left, Dr. George carried our sweet dorky out to the waiting room so my daughter could love on him one more time. We returned that evening to a happy, healthy dog who looked SO much better. When we moved back to the Tulsa area 6 months later, it was a no-brainer that we would establish Dr. George as our veterinarian of choice. We have seen him at this location and the Riverside location. It’s safe to say that we would follow him wherever he went!I should add that we have actually had A+ experiences with everybody each time we have visited. From the girls at the front desk to the technicians to the Pet Lodge employees… Everyone there has our vote of confidence.

Buyer Beware! Ask for an estimate!!! I took my cat in after having issues with her urinating on the floor. Dr. George said he needed to run so tests to see what was going on. He offered to let me leave the cat so I could return to work and pick her up later in the day. About six hours later I got a text from Dr. George saying all the lab work looked good. So he was giving her an injection for inflammation and an injection of antibiotic because he thought it was likely an occult urinary tract infection. I thought it odd that lab work didn't show anything, but I am not knowledgeable about these things. So I trusted his diagnosis. When I arrived to pick her up the person at the front desk told me the bill was over $500! I was shocked. I should have asked for an estimate from the beginning, but it would be appropriate for River Trail and Dr. George to do so as well. I can't think of any business aside from some parts of human healthcare that does not provide an estimate prior to completing work. Even a dentist will give an estimate and get approval for charges. Many doctors offices do the same for items that aren't likely to be covered by insurance. I asked to speak with Dr. George about the charges. It was a very difficult conversation, and it was not handled professionally. In the end I was given my records and told we were not a good fit for each other. I tried to pay for a portion of the services received, but Dr. George was so irate that he would not allow me to make any payment. One more minor thing, when I got home I found that the towel in the crate with my cat was not the towel I brought her in with. I don't really care about getting my towel back, but it must have been disconcerting for my poor cat to have another animal's smell in the crate with her after such a traumatic day.

Garbage. Doctor is an egotistical maniac who canceled a nail trimming appointment after scheduled and arrived because my dogs didn't have vaccination with them even though they had trimmed them before and never asked about vaccines after being a customer of theirs for over 5 years. Cannot recommend in any way please stay away from these rude people who will water your time and threaten you

They were able to get us in quickly and were excellent at diagnosis, astute in continuing care, pragmatic in recommendations and compassionate in their care. Eased a difficult decision.

I am very disappointed with the care at Riverside. I had trusted them in the past when Dr Hooley was the Veterinarian. They now are constantly promoting their agenda of bloodwork, test, X-rays and scans every single time. My pet is 17 and I’m not putting him through all of that. I’ve had multiple people tell me that is their agenda. Bill bill bill. It’s not about the pet anymore.

I went with my friend to have her dog receive veterinary care. Unfortunately they were rude and unprofessional. I had really expected more based on google reviews. Do not recommend
