Misty is the best customer representative, addressed all my needs and beyond. Very knowledgeable about the different plans offered and wants the best experience for her customers. I would recommend BTC over other companies like Cox.

Just go with Cox... save yourself time and trouble.
BTC has spotty and inconsistent internet connectivity / speed... a lot of maintenance, several days over the last year where internet was down.... including recently. Never achieved the speed advertised.
Received this email from the CEO last year:
"I am writing to express my sincere apology for the recent network performance issues that some of you experienced and our lack of timely and ongoing communication. I understand the importance of customer communication as well as a reliable and seamless internet experience and acknowledge that BTC Broadband has fallen short of your expectations. Over the past year, we have encountered challenges that impacted the performance of our network infrastructure. Some events led to disruptions in service, slower-than-usual data speeds, and intermittent connectivity for some of you. We deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused and want to assure you we are taking immediate and comprehensive steps to address these issues."
Continues to not improve in the past 12 months. Switched to Cox, less $$$, free equipment/install, no issues, easy transition, excellent service experience.... I'm actually getting higher speed than advertised with Cox (526Mbps download on a 500 plan).
BTC never apologized for the issues when I called about my service being down for 2-3 days this month. Asked for a timeframe of resolution, they said they were unable to provide one.... I work from home, "no timeframe" doesn't work for me. When I called to cancel, no attempt to keep from me cancelling (I assume I'm not the only one then and they just don't care). Responded to my emails a week later to tell me, despite their inability to provide consistent service, they would be enforcing a $200 early termination fee for the remainder of my 9 months on the contract.
I didn't switch because I wanted to.... I switched because they couldn't deliver.

The internet is good, but the customer service has always been great! They are always quick to get back to me and super helpful with whatever I need. Misty helped me most recently, and she went above and beyond. She’s amazing and I highly recommend BTC to anyone who has it as an option!

It's easy to take internet service for granted. My BTC bill went up about $15 - so when I got an email asking if there was anything they could do to improve my service. I responded, "yes, my bill used to be $55 a month, it just went up to $71 a month. Why did it go up and is it possible to get it back where it was? They responded that my annual contract ran out and to get the $55 a month I'd need to sign a 12-month contract. I agreed, they quickly e-mailed me the contract and it saved me $16 a month for internet service. BTC has treated us well and we've rarely had any problems with our service. I'd recommend them!

We have been with BTC for over five years and the internet connection is even faster than contracted for and the customer service is absolutely the best. The very few times I have needed to contact customer support the results have been positve and the problem solved in a courteous and professional maner.

We have had BTC since the mid 1970’s. The service has been wonderful for both telephone and internet. We signed up with the internet services as soon as it became available. We have enjoyed using the services. The tech support has been great as well as the BTC customer service.
