Visited on 2/15/24 as new patient. I'm not from the area, my employer is based here. My dog got bitten by two stray dogs during a freight delivery. I called to make an appointment and they were able to get me in sooner than originally. Wonderful professional kind staff. I'd definitely return for future visits. Highly recommend. My dog buddy says thank you ladies!

They helped me save my parvo positive puppy and was willing to break it down in to different estimates so you knew what was being covered. Dr. Story was amazingly sweet and honest at the same time. They were patient while we decided as a family on how to provide care.

This is the only vet I use. It's cheap enough on the initial price just to get them in but she also won't do any treatments that you don't agree to and she tells you price before she does anything. No surprises, no extra treatments you don't need, and it helps that they are super polite.

They are an efficient, thorough facility that cares about making sure we prevent problems from occurring and also about the bottom line. They are friendly also. Love going there, as much as my fur babies.

I have taken all my pets to Council Vet for ten years! Dr. Redden took care of all my pet rattos, and now she and her team are my go-to for any of my dog's or cat's needs. I always joke that my dog actually LIKES going to the vet. Everyone there is always so helpful and kind and its clear they care about our animals. The care the provide is top notch. Thank you Council Vet team for always being amazing!

Everybody is kind, competent and efficient. This is one of the most affordable vets in the city! I've known Dr Vaughn since she took over the practice from the former doctor. There is no place I would trust more with my fur babies!

I had a neighbor drop off their puppy at my house and wouldn't take her back. I called darn near every rescue and non-kill shelter in town. All at or over 100% capacity, the local pound would kill her same day. So I decided it's my responsibility to take care of her. Better get her looked at and get her shots. Arriving at the vet she slipped her leash and ran into the road, nearly got both of us killed grabbing her. Carried her in the front door, where she proceeded to headbutt me in the face, feels like my nose is broken. Got seen to a room and had animal control called on me and they were ready to arrest me for animal abuse. Thankfully, I was able to explain to Animal Control the circumstances and they were actually very nice. The staff claimed it was a third-party, someone else in the waiting room but even knowing the full story, I didn't get an apology. So if you want to risk possibly having the cops called if you so much as scold you dog after running into traffic and breaking your nose please go here. Note: At no point did I hit or strike the dog, after she broke my nose I grabbed her by the scruff and pushed her down into a chair. Considering that a minute earlier, I just about ran into a busy road to keep her from getting killed. And even if the staff didn't call animal control, which I find unlikely. They never checked on either one of us, including the person (myself) that just got hit in the face.

Yearly checkup for both dogs. Safe and friendly environment, kept clean. They take the time to help relax dogs.
