My grandson "needed" some hot dogs and gummy worms and this is the closest store to their new home.
As we shopped for a 4 years old little boys shopping list we are often asked if we need anything. When Beaux suddenly shouted "Ut oh Nana Beaux has to P" a middle age guys stocking he had dark hair. He jumps up and says "emergency emergency those are handled down here" walked us to the bathroom. It was a small thing. But isn't that what real life about? The small things we do for one another...

Home land is stepping up their game! They now have an app. that has coupons and once a week there's an item that you just pay the taxes on that item. For example last week it was eight rolls of toilet paper for 10 cents plus tax.. this week it's paper towels. I highly recommend downloading their app. And start clipping those coupons!

Cutest grocery store ever. Very clean and well stocked, though the selection is a little bit all over the place. Corn husks for tamales are available but no ricotta. I'm okay with that for how cute and chill this store is.

According to google and the sign on the door this location is open until 9pm but this evening, February 19th 2024 they decided to lock the front door and close the register at 8:05pm. The locked door is not only a big OSHA violation but completely against Homeland policy. Closing the register is clear incompetence and probably trying to leave early. This was also apparent for the employee sleeping in the fetal position on the bagger shelf at register and the other employee sweeping dirt and then shaking the dust broom 3 feet off the ground as I'm walking by.... PLEASE DO BETTER HOMELAND EMPLOYEES, THAT WAS EMBARRASSING!

I travel around NE Oklahoma for work and I visit several homelands. I love all of them, this one feels like a small town store in all the best ways. Also Dave's Triple chocolate cookies are divine as well as the cowboy ones too!!!
